The word 'CUNT' has a new meaning, Bobby Gillespie.
On Sunday evening I was enjoying the BBC THREE coverage of Glastonbury, around 8pm and as a consequence had to put up with Colin and Edith's sensationalistic ranting as was expected of them. More so when bitter lead singer of Primal Scream. Bobby Gillespie came on to be invterviewed off his tits drunk with a fellow band mate. As soon as his mouth was opened, shite came out. ' Fuck this, Fuck that, wanker this, wanker that, '.
He called Basement Jaxx, ' Basement Joke ' and called them cocksuckers.
Bowman and Murrary were having orgasms at all this, laughing along like mindless puppets and when the interview was over branded him ' the biggest rock star in the world ' and then continued to joke about apologising to viewers.
So later on stage, Primal Scream over ran their set and threw a hissy fit on stage becuase they were told to leave before their last track. now if New Order were not allowed to play Blue Monday because their set ove-ran, I sure as hell don't want to endure a cover of John Lennon’s ‘Gimme Some Truth’ by a pissed up smackhead Scot. ( n.b I am Scottish ).
This a quote from NME,
Throughout the show, Gillespie had been in antagonistic mood, calling the crowd “fucking hippes” before playing ‘Kill All Hippies’ and calling, “Did anyone come to see Kylie? Fuck yous,” and later antagonising headliners Basement Jaxx.
My two main points are :
Why did the BBC not pull the plug as soon as Bobby Gillespie started swearing? If it was Peel or Whiley then they would not have even stood for that. It's sensationalism from the BBC and from monkeys, Bowman and Murray.
secondly, Why the fuck were Primal Scream even playing.? Fair enough, on good album, ok then let's put Lolly then.
If you can be half-arsed, here is a link to BBC's complaint site should you wish to action to be taken against Colin Murray and Edith Bowman :
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/complaints/handle_complaint.pl
It was on Sunday 26th of June around 20.30 on BBC Three.
Maybe you don't agree with me or hopefully you do, either way, he is a cunt.
Thank you for reading.

Primal Scream are to rock music what Yoko Ono was to The Beatles. Nobody takes them seriously, so don't worry. Bobby is a lanky plank that took great delight in hiring Kate Moss to destroy the last bit of cred his tired group had. Atari Teenage Riot wannabes without the teenagers or the riot.
Or the Atari.

Not only that he called them "fucking cocksuckers".
Whilst i'm no prude, I was surprised about the BBC's lax attitude to Gillespie "gobbing off". He is well known for being a bit controversial, so the Beeb must have known what to expect - but I suppose that's the whole point. Shouldn't the Beeb have shown an edited version of their performance later on, instead of going live to their set and a bit more effing and jeffing? Primal Scream have released some great tracks in their time, but their recent "displays" of anarchy seem to induce yawn's rather than gasp's of horror. Thank god the Keiser Chief blokey was on after their interview- funny, self-depracating and intelligent.
Oh, and don't get me started on Colin Murray - what a first class smug tosser. Licking Primal Scream arse?! - If I want to watch men felching i'll watch a porno thanks v.much!

I love popstars that are deemed a bit dangerous, but Bobby Gillespie is just a sad, old cunt with absolutely no idea whatsoever. And I'm surprised he isn't being challenged for his homophobic 'cocksucker' insult as well.
Didn't he interview Kylie for the NME in the early 90s? I wonder what his problem is with her now? Not returning the phone calls Bobby? Aaah!

let's not get too p.c. now. gillespie is a cunt of the first order but he's hardly on a par with godhatesfags.com. cocksucker doesn't exactly mean "squealing raving queen" does it?
anyway, back to gillespie. it doesn't really matter what he says about anyone really. he called his son wolf. i say no more.

Uh, I know I personally would, as well as I know plenty of other gays would take offense to that comment in context of what he said.
Obviously he's trying to get some attention to his name because musically he ain't cutting it. Publicity, whether good or bad, usually helps sales.

As if Colin and Edith weren't bad enough alone! I think that casually homophobic comments like this are almost worse than overt ones. My views have been logged with the Beeb.
P.s Is it wrong that filling out BBC complaint forms is becoming a hobby of mine?

I'm surprised anyone here is surprised at Radio 1 'Credible' Clowns, Colin and Edith behaving like this. We all know they're a pair of craven schmindie idiots with their heads stuck up Chris Martin's arse.
Bobby Gillespie I am a little surprised at. The homophobic comment - well, I'm a big boy now and have been called worse - but what about the act? They played an absolutely storming set at Glastonbury the year before last. What went wrong?

They were so disappointing at Glastonbury, I've seen them be brilliant loads of times before (including at Glastonbury) but I guess not getting the headline slot didn't go down too well - given that Bobby got the audience to boo the headline act and slagged off fans of the the previous, cancer-stricken headliners.

I think I've missed something, but in what way is "cocksucker" homophobic? Is it because Bobby's using it as a derogatory term to imply that Basement Jaxx are homosexuals, and therefore implying that being homosexual is a bad thing? Are Basement Jaxx homosexuals? (I've often wondered about the bespectacled one. Mmm.)
Please somebody put me straight (ho ho) on these details.

Wait a minute. Cock-sucker shouldn't necessarily imply a male should it? I am a straight girl who... erm... enjoys.. stuff. you know what i mean. *red cheeks*. well i'm old enough for it to be legal and young enough to not yet fear The LockJaw so i'll talk about what i like! anyway maybe bobby was suggesting that he thought the Jaxx all had vaginas? now i'm no massive fan to be honest but i have deffo heard a female singing/wailing on their tracks so he is kind of correct in a way. although how many women are there in BJ ?(aha! maybe he was double-entre-ing their initials!?). and are they straight and therefore (presumably) into a bit of cocksucking? does anyone know how many women are lesbians? as a percentage of all women? and if all the straight women in the world had a fight against all the lesbians who do you think would win? sorry that's somewhat meandering from the subject. I agree that Bobby Gillespie is a bit past it, despite having been classic in his day (the early 90s. for fuck sake!) he is also a very rude chap and the BBC should have given him a bit of a slap (after firing nasty colin and edith - poo)

Mani was however, ace, masterfully supplanting the potentially offensive word "bastards" with "smackheads" like a true professional. He was even dresssed as a chimp. He should get his telly show back (except the channel - UK Play? - has ceased to exist).
