She's lost half her head and gained a whole neck!

Egads, that's awful.

How strange is that picture! They obviously cropped her hair a bit, as the bang over her left eye casts no shadow. Very odd. Tina Louise meets My Little Pony.

She looks like the female sax player from the Muppets!

And am sure the 'secret' gay life of Luther isn't THAT secret, think we all knew, wasn't he discovered by Bette Midler? Can't get MUCH gayer than that!

Make your own Madonna magazine cover...

get a picture of an alien
airbrush it with pasty white
find a glam hairstyle and 'chop it onto the alien's head (make sure it entirely covers on eye so it looks cycloptic)
put little sparklies on the alien's eye and put little hearts under one of the ears
put it on a very 'chic' blue background.

That's pretty sad. You can see a "phantom" earring hovering just to the right of her actual earring, and the "trimming" of her jawline is VERY apparent on the left side (her right) of her face just above her neck. It also makes her jawline asymmetrical.

Also her hair appears to be fiber-optic with purple coming from the ends. How futuristic!!

Great observation whoever likened her to a My Little Pony. I'll keep my eye out for the new "Magic Martian Madonna" pony.

She looks like she's had the shits for a couple of weeks. That's even worse than the 'Fergie Peas' Cosmo cover a few months back.

Her hair's an absolute disaster. Did her gardener and her stylist swap jobs for the week?

there are some nice shots from the sorry video used inside the magazine so it's a pity the cover is so awful.

She looked grim on the "Hello Moto" campaign posters too. Wonder if these things don't get run past her first? You'd assume they would but surely she wouldn't approve such horrors

I think we've all missed the point.

The picture is nothing to do with Madonna - it's actually a picture of Luther Vandross.

Has anyone else noticed the 'nice-ification' of Madonna, from the "oh she's so lovely" bits in the '...secret" film to 'How high' 's lyric "it's funny/How everybody mentions my name/They're never very nice", how suddenly after loving her woman with balls of steel image she now wants to be seen as 'likeable/loveable'. I'm a big fan but I have never seen her as that, unlike say Kylie. She's now "of the people" with videos with all the dance kids etc: Think I prefer her a bit more 'unreachable'.

Your version of the cover is infinitely more attractive than the real one.

Horrific. This thread literally gave me nightmares the other night.

Don't worry, petal, she is still an icy bitch! Imperious. Read the Harper's Bazaar piece or the Rolling Stone one. Though I do think the writers may have a problem with her, she does not do anything to help that.

This thread gets an A+!

That's a brilliant idea for a PopJustice 'activity' to do. But you did forget one thing, place some text of an "UNHEARD OF SECRET GAY LIFE OF (insety celeb name here*" and you've basically done a better job than the photo edittor of that magazine has.

Well thanks to the "Dance kids", that's how she gets to #1 on MTV's TRL (US) in a week or so. apparently it is still hanging on to #1.
