I was wondering why this was back, seeing as we all seem to have decided we love Matt and hate Charlie.
Yet it seems some strange girl has decided to do some random ranting.

Indeed. Appears another Busted psycho is amongst us. She's not 'stessing' her point very well, is she? Heh.

hehe maybe this post was actually instigated by Charlie to deflect attention from his own bewilderingly obtuse Kerrang comments. Which would be silly. If the most scathing criticism anyone can throw at Matt is that he has bad hair at present, or pulls silly faces, or likes to go out and get wasted... well bugger me (ahem, obviously buggering me is not one of Matt's bad habits, but a boy can dream).
Oops, reading back on the above I don't seem to have made any typos. Hope I won't be ostracised by Matthew's true fans...

Like I'm a normal woman. Like someone said on the other thread, no one knows they're going to be famous (unless their career is sheer nepotism) when they start out, and no one should have to change how they are when they get famous just because someone thinks you would look better with shorter hair or whatever. People who can spell are ALWAYS welcome in threads about Busted.

Dudes!!! What's the deal?! Matt is totally hot! I think he might possibly be the fittest guy in pop. I mean, let's face it, it's getting barren and he's just a complete fox! The hair is awesome, the gurns are funny and his enthusiasm is just so darn cute. I think people have said that he looks best in the Thunderbirds video and I have to agree...sheer perfection......MIAOW! Anyways, that's just my opinion....and I have to admit I'm glad there's so many people who think he's rough....less competition....*wink wink*.....TTFN

That's kind of the point. He's a bloke. Just a normal bloke. Like I'm a normal woman. Except he's famous and you're aren't? There are plenty of differences. Granted he may not become an arsehole from the fame, but living the lifestyle he leaves, and having the past couple of years he's had, he isn't going to be the same as he was before he got into the band.

Thunderbirds? nah. Crashed The Wedding and You Said No do it for me. oh definitely! Matt in a wedding dress.... ahem. meanwhile, I also think he was looking very fetching in the air hostess video. - Spikey hair and low-rise jeans at their best. Just stunning, he can pull a face at me anyday.

My mate saw him in a pub in Kilburn this week - I think that makes him petty damn normal! No hiding in celebrity haunts...just going to any old pub to enjoy a couple (!) of pints. Makes him seem very normal to me.

I can see fear in Matt's eyes now. He knows he's a hasbeen and he's barely in his twenties. So what is he going to do now? He has no forum for his endless Billie Green Day imitations and no band to show off his vile greasy hair and spotty face.
Poor Matt. We won't remember you.

Oh, shush Dr Bastard. Matt was and is inexpicably fantastic. He will always have a legion of rabid fangirls supporting him in whatever he ends up doing.

Thing is, he isnt just a normal, boring celebrity. He is one of the most charasmatic popstars around today, he's grounded and he's an amazing performer live.
Theres been so many occasions where people have said: "Busted are so fucking shit, but Matt is fit/cool" etc. etc.
This will not be the last we have heard of him by any means.

We certainly haven't, if this film is anything to go by. I will keep an eye out next time I'm in Blockbuster.

I think this film thing is a hoax. If it were true I'm fairly certain Matt would have mentioned it by now.
IMDB is often updated on the basis of rumours, unfortunately.

Thunderbirds? nah. Crashed The Wedding and You Said No do it for me. Hmm..*thinks*..Thunderbirds (for the wink/tongue thing especially...), and Crashed The Wedding (probably) videos, and obviously Better Than This on the live dvd do it for me. Gotta love him. That voice..especially live..ok, he's maybe not the best singer but he has a sexy voice. Am I alone in thinking that?

i agree, he's got a gorgeous husky voice Especially on Sleeping With The Light On, sung live, his way of singing "engaged" and making it sound so very sexy and like it has about a million a's...it was a hi-light of seeing them live, hearing him sing that! And the laugh...oh the laugh!... Does anyone remember (that's a stupid thing to say..) the cowboy (hehe..) episode of America or Busted where Matt and James came out of the dressing room thing and just laughed? I did like that bit very much....

I have happy memories of Matt in AoB in general.I watched the entire series the other night as I had taped it. Gotta love that VCR.
I do hope it hits terrestrial TV though, or is brought out on DVD, or something. I'd love to see the out-takes.
Also, I know this is a Matt thread, but I adore the bit where the guy who has the horses tells James to keep turning, and he just looks so gormless when he says "I have no steering wheel!..."

My mate Maz (she's posted on here once or twice..) taped it all too, I've borrowed the tape about a million times. I also loved: "James, don't run towards my horse! James! James, fuck off man!.." and "That shirt looks awful..you do look like Garth Brooks!...oh dear!..." (possibly even better than the above quote, purely for the face Matt pulled and the way he said 'oh dear' whilst looking amazingly fit in a cowboy hat...)

I can envisage channel 4 screening it at 3am or thereabouts (maybe after the Popworld repeat). Presumably the powers that be realise that just because Busted are over, it doesn't mean that there is any less demand among Busted fans for a sighting of America or Busted.
And to those of you contemplating suicide if the series is not shown terrestrially, it is available to download somewhere or other, n'est ce pas? Admittedly Cowboy Matt must look better on a widescreen TV than on a little windows media file. But hey ho.
