She looks such a fucking mess, but obviously the worst things about her are the mediocre MOR songs and horrible shouty voice.
The faux punkiness, shite name and very ugly face are also unacceptable. She looks like Eddie Izzard with less style for fuck's sake.
Don't give me that "strong woman" shite either. She's fucking everyone's favourite wife beater Tommy Lee.

Don't give me that "strong woman" shite either. She's fucking everyone's favourite wife beater Tommy Lee. It was established quite some months ago that this never happened. Bash her all you want (that's what the board's for) but don't just make stuff up. The 'very ugly face' has also somehow managed to make the FHM 100 the last 3 years running.

I didn't just "make it up" all by myself. Admittedly, I wasn't massively sure about the facts of the Tommy Lee thing, but I thought it was worth a shot. They were at least chums no? (Which is vastly worse than just fucking him.)
Re: the face. I still maintain - Eddie Izzard. FHM or no.

I believe they were (or are) just friends. I can't stand him either, but I choose to ignore the whole thing.
I appreciate her voice is an acquired taste, but I think it's incredibly versatile rather than horrible and shouty. Her live show was amazing - occasionally tasteless, always entertaining and performed with real vigour. I might be in a minority on this, but I'd rather watch her doing what she loves than Britney doing her job. Having watched both concerts, the difference is abundantly clear.
I also love how her career curve is shaped by whichever whim she's on at the time. Following up a reasonably successful debut album by hooking up with a has-been from a long-forgotten one hit wonder band isn't exactly what you call a fail-safe strategy, but it worked. Then again, neither is letting the frontman of a scarcely A-list punk band produce your album, and since Try This sold a quarter of Missundaztood's total we can probably say that one didn't work. What will she do next? Fuck knows, but we won't see the back of her any time soon. (Insert 'it's her best feature' joke here).

I really admire and respect the way Pink has genuinely evolved musically, as opposed to just blandly reinventing herself because that's what pop stars are supposed to do. I love her voice, it's so forceful and gutteral, whilst also managing to be quite pretty and not too blunt. I never really felt Mizzundastood because the lyricism seemed so simplistic, but I personally believe she's a genuine trendsetter as opposed to a follower, rendering her pretty much unique as a major female solo recording artist.
As for looks- I thought she was quite fit when she first came out, but she does seem to become more and more mannish as time goes on. I don't really give a shit though. Her music has enough integrity, and her voice has enough capability, that she doesn't need to justify herself as eye candy.

There was a picture of her on the front of The Sun or something the other week and she looked quite gorgeous. She's definitely improved in the shaggability stakes. She looked a mess in her first few videos I think.

I thought she was great when she first came out. The lyrics from some of her songs were so true but now I think she looks tired and washed out and her songs have lost that edge
From her sales I don't think i am the only one that thinks like this

Been listening to 'Can't Take Me Home' again this afternoon and it's ace. It's stood the test of time. Pink did and still does cut it in my opinion.

Pink has one of the best voices around. You have to respect her for Just Like A Pill alone, surely one of the greatest songs ever. Her albums are great, and in interviews she actually talks some sense and she is fair and honest about her fellow entertainers. She's exceptionally talented. Her voice on Catch Me While I'm Sleeping sends chills down my spine.

Pink rules. 'Try This' is a really really stomping good album. Although it may not be to everyone's tastes, the only bad song on it is 'Waiting For Love', which is horrible - really horrible.
I think 'Mizzundaztood' is a good album, but it has clear stand-out tracks ('Get The Party Started', 'Just Like A Pill', 'Don't Let Me Get Me' and 'Family Potrait') all the singles and some other above average songs but generally it's quite OK-ish, not bad, but by no means spectactular.
In contrast there are no real stand-out tracks on 'Try This'. Obviously different people will like different songs more than others, but 'Trouble' and 'God Is A DJ' stand out no more than 'Save My Life' or 'Humble Neighbourhoods'. Infact - I personally feel that the chosen singles are much weaker than the rest of the album.
Nobody who has heard 'Oh My God' can hate Pink. Dislike maybe, but defintiely not hate.

I used to really like Pink. I think Both 'Can't Take Me Home' and 'Missundaztood' are great albums.
I find her dull now. I didn't like Try This, and I don't think she does punk very well. SHe fares much better when she does stuff with a bit of soul.

I absolutely detest Waiting For Love. It's by far and away the worst song on the album - just really shouty. I've mentioned this once or 1000 times before, but Catch Me While I'm Sleeping should have been a single. It could really have turned things around - an outstanding ballad, very soulful in style, which would have lured back the fans put off by Trouble. Much as I loved her concert, I was gutted that she didn't sing that song.

I like her. She's not perfect but at least she has some cop on and maturity and even if she regards herself as an artist she doesn't feel the need to harp on about it all the time a la Xtina. I wish I'd seen her tour! Damn. Anyway I think Try This bombed because there was no "I can so relate to this lyrics" style single a la JLAP and DLMGM. I think this put some off. They really should have gone with Oh My God and Humble Neighbourhoods.

I didn't really like Can't Take Me Home except for the singles. I loved M!sunderztood, and I absolutely adore Try This.
I wish she hadn't released Last To Know, I can't stand it. Try Too Hard and Humble Neighbourhoods are (excuse my language) fucking fantastic.
She's said on more than one occasion that she doesn't care about sales or what people are saying, and that she'll keep making music until the day that she isn't enjoying it anymore.
Although I have a feeling that we sadly won't see a fourth album.

Although I have a feeling that we sadly won't see a fourth album. What on Earth gives you that idea? Try This bombed in the States but it still sold 3 million copies worldwide, so I very much doubt BMG will drop her - she clearly still has potential. I'd expect a new album sometime next year.

I'd expect a new album sometime next year. Not through the record company dropping her, by Pink not wanting to make any more music. There wasn't even gonna be a third album because she was so drained physically and emotionally after M!sundaztood, and she didn't want to go through it all again. But who knows, she's unpredictable, I'd love it if she did make a fourth.

Um...so it's just me then? No it isn't, Audrey. She is a waste of space and needs to learn that good manners cost nothing. I remember a time when to be a lady in pop meant exactly that. You won't catch me buying records by some cheap yob in lipstick who can't even spell her album titles properly. Never mind her traumatic upbringing, I blame Carol Decker.

Anyway, I just saw the video for 'Just Like A Pill'. It's such a good song & she looks so great in the video. I didn't really get the appeal of 'Don't Let Me Get Me' but the rest of Mizundaztood was great.
Note to Linda Perry: Don't stop writing for Pink or I will be forced to kick your shins.

Note to Linda Perry: Don't stop writing for Pink or I will be forced to kick your shins. I'm in two minds about this, seeing as how Ms Perry was partially responsible for both the best track (Catch Me While I'm Sleeping) and the worst (the hideous Waiting For Love) on Try This. I'd like her to work with Dallas Austin again - his 4 contributions to Missundaztood were all superb. It actually bugs me a little that Linda Perry gets most of the praise for Missundaztood's success, as an album surely sells itself on the strength of its singles, and only one out of the four had any involvement from her.

Lets be serious here.
Pink looks like a pig who has been splashed with gravy.
Her nose is like a snout.
Her faux punk and rebelliousness is only mildly exciting to 11 year old girls who don't realise they are gay yet.
