Were they meant to be one of the Celebrity couples in the Celebrity awards the other night?
THere were only 4 nominations in that category compared to all the other categories which all had 5.

erm, what exactly is the "pussies the size of your head" incident? sounds kind of interesting. In the week that his single was released, Briyan told Time Out about the time when Kerry was away and he decided to watch porn on his gigantic telly. He didn't reveal whether he was raising his finger at the time, however.

I read that Time Out interview - made me wonder at the time but tis all clear now! Were they meant to be one of the Celebrity couples in the Celebrity awards the other night? THere were only 4 nominations in that category compared to all the other categories which all had 5. I'm sure they were nominated - probably hastily edited out to save their blushes. If my husband had written the words 'had visitors round for tea. stuck my fingers up in the air and watched football on the tv' I would have kicked him out for sure but then he didn't write the words Guy Chambers did Surely that bit was written by Biryian? It has amateur lyricist written all over it and I always thought Mr Chambers was more a music and melody man.

how tragic for them to lose a celebrity award just because their marriage has failed

But hang on, here's a magazine who's promising to sort the security and give you money on top just for the exclusive right to take the photos. This argument makes a lot of sense. Just one thing sticks in my mind though; Why do they take the money? It seems it's the idea of selling the wedding that bothers people. As you rightly say, I think most couples would feel a bit peeved if they had to fork out on security just to stop a gaggle of morally devoid snappers from hiding under a choirboy. So yes, if Hello! offered to take care of security in exchange for photo rights, I think anyone would rightly jump at the chance. (And let's face it, security doesn't get much tighter than a celeb mag protecting their exclusive from their rivals...) It's when the money starts changing hands that I think most people start feeling queasy. If you're offered gratis security and a top photographer, you'd be mad to say No. But accepting a six-figure sum as well, a sum which is then widely reported in the press? I think that's what some people see as the cheapening of what is meant to be a special family-and-friends occasion - Selling your wedding to the highest bidder. Yes, it must be difficult to turn down a huge sum of cash (especially if, as the press often says, these popstars don't actually make that much money). But surely they'll have ample opportunity to make up for it in other, more traditional ways later on? I don't recall debates this colourful over Liz McClarnon lending her image to a promotional campaign. The trouble could be that a lot of people still have vivid memories of Anthea Turner's chocolate-bar wedding photo. I think the impression is that whilst, for the rest of us, weddings cost a fortune for all involved, some celebrity couples see their weddings as just another chance to coin it in. Just my tuppence worth.

Brian openly said on CD/UK that he did it for the money, full stop.

I can't say that I'm really upset about their marriage breaking up, I mean I'm not happy about it because to be honest, if they do break up there's no hope for the rest of us.
What I like about Kerry and Brian as a whole is that they are/were dopey in love with each other and you could tell that they really like(d) each other. As well as that, after the stripper incident I loved Kerry because I remember her saying that she didn't want to break up with Brian as she didn't like having grown up in a broken home.
However, I do think that they still might get back together, they just fit together too well, and I don't think that what they had before could be destroyed so quickly.
And I do think it's a bit mean to have this in the clowns and idiots forum
