She really annoys me. Anyone does actually out of the Beddingfield Clan.
Her annoying voice, moralistic songs and arrogance.

I can't say I've found her arrogant at all. And what exactly is 'moralistic' about her songs? That she's happy being single? That she's struggling to write a song? That your whole life is still ahead of you? Do these really represent heavy moral issues for you?
Plus her album is really rather good

I saw Bedingfield MK I being interviewed, when he said "It's weird that every bloke in England fancies my sister". Sorry to break it to you, Daniel, but you are very, very mistaken. There's a rumour thats going around on Popbitch... Well, that's enough evidence for me to dismiss it out of hand.

There's a rumour thats going around on Popbitch that Natasha has a drink problem. Has anyone else heard this? I've heard of this, however I was under the impression it was a running gag for the amusement of those in the know aimed to scupper the gullible, and not actually true*. I'd be surprised if there was any truth in it. * same applies for most of the stuff on there.

I hate he more than anyone else in pop at the moment.
The way she banged on about being happy being single in her debut, but then used the "I love you I love you I love you" line like som love sick puppy really got to me.
And it it true that "These words" was co-written with about four people? If so surely the "These words of mine" line really shouldn't be in there...

I think the stuff about her being a alky are true - she always looks kind of vacant/pissed.

I came to the conclusion that the only bit in These Words she had written is the 'I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you' line. And the hyper-bowl/hyper-bolly thing still gets to me. But having said that, I don't hate her with a passion, she annoys me and I wouldn't buy her album, but I have been known to sing along when the songs come on the radio.

I quite liked her when "Single" came out because she seemed like a cool Destiny's Child-style Independent Woman, and I also thought she looked quite pretty in the video. But then I heard "These Words" and my opinions changed drastically. The song is crap, I mean really bad. I'd be so annoyed if I was the person she was writing it about. Being unable to think of any better, more romantic (or interesting) way of expressing her love than "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you" is laughable (anyone seen Singing in the Rain?). The rest of the lyrics are just as bad. The tune's annoying as well. I also find her horribly unattractive, and her voice is like a more annoying version of Fergie from BEP.

The production on "These Words" is awful.
As is rhyming "Keats" with "Beats".

The production on "These Words" is awful. As is rhyming "Keats" with "Beats". It was that in particular that cemented my loathing for her. Name-checking the great Romantic poets doesn't make us think you're wonderfully intellectual, dear. I'd go so far as to say that hearing the name of Shelley, and then the word 'hip-hop' in the next line, was one of my all time low points of 2004, and there were plenty.

I believe she rhymes "Shakespeare" with "Queer" on the b-side to her next single - that's one to look out for.

Being unable to think of any better, more romantic (or interesting) way of expressing her love than "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you" is laughable You appear to have missed the point of the song which is that she tries to express her feelings in many elaborate ways but finally decides that nothing is more apt than the most straightforward, simple, to the point phrase of 'I Love You' - 'And that's all I've got to say, can't think of a better way, and that's all I've got to say, I love you is that ok?'

Hi, I just searched online for anyone discussing the point of hating the Bedingfields, and was really pleased to find Popjustice.
I've had to register just to vent my heavy dislike for them.
They are both as annoying as each other, and the thought of two more coming on the seen fill me full of dread.
The reason they are both so annoying is they have that really forced overly positve fake vibe about them. I'd heard that were born again Christians. They just have a look blank programmed tedious look in their eyes, like theres no one really home.
Hopefully they are both covering up real shame and can be embarrassed in the tabloids in the coming years.
Any bets they'll be presenting Songs of Praise in 10 years time? Or had been to some commune for a few years.

He's a fat hobbit, and as I've seen elsewhere she's the poor mans Nelly Furtado.

I have finally found a way of gaining some pleasure from the Beddingfields.
After listening to "These Words" for the millionth time on the radio, if you listen you can hear a Auu-Ooow backing voacl in the pre chorus. When this starts, continue singing it at inooportune times throughtout the remainder of the song, prefarably loud enough that you can't hear the song. You'd be surprised how much fun this can be.
Note: Only do this when you're alone in the room you work in.

Or if you are watching the vid, put it on mute and play a totally different song altogether, Slayer or Slipknot for instance (if you can stand it) and watch Nedders mime to the metal!

Interesting, I hated Single for being so totally cliched (the lyrics were way too close to Independent Women and similar for a start) and uninteresting but loved These Words for being so gleefully ridiculous.

She can sing, she has an unique voice!
Her album is bloody brilliant!
Funny how the word "rumour" comes up! natasha has a drink problem? why that would be the day. i reckon, shes been spotted out for a drink a couple of times, getting drunk like people her age do, and people jumping to the wrong conclusions and wanting to make money from her. she has'nt been in the headlines for a while so they had to make something up!
and how is she arrogant?! i personally think her song's are inspirational, and am going to see her in concert next friday. and as for the rhyming issue i'd like to see you do better!
