I saw it was May 1st at first but now it's changed to May 8th on the HMV site. Does anyone know the correct date?

I know, I don't understand why they changed it though. it said May 1st on HMV.co.uk originally.

Stuff gets delayed. It happens. To be honest I think we're pretty lucky it's being released in the UK at all (although I remember buying one year's in Smiths! 2002 maybe?)

I usually buy it online, I'm not a fan of buying Eurovision merchandise in person, lol.

I know what you mean, but to be honest I would, if i was going to get it first that way. I look at Eurovision websites at work. I'm that bad.

I'll probably buy it in person this year, I want it on the Monday it's released. Sad, I know!
Do you look at the eurovision sites all year round? My friends think I'm a freak, lol.

*laughs audibly* Yeah, mine too. And no, not all year round, but I listen to Eurovision songs all year round (though not so much), they make me feel good. In a sad, gay way.

Isn't it funny how we all share the shame about going into a shop and buying Eurovision merchandise.
I too remember that in 2002 the CD was available in WHSmiths and about passed out in 2004 when I saw it in Asda......the shame of admitting that I was in there!!!!

Oh I wish you poor boys were blessed to live in Sweden where the Eurovision and Melodifestivalen are held in highest regard! Why, were I to run for Prime Minister I don't think there is anyone who would dare run against me!!!

I remember the compilation always charting quite well in the compilation charts. Maybe I just imagined it.

The year's Eurovision compilation album, containing all the songs competing in the contest will be released on May 5th in Ireland and most of mainland Europe, and on May 8th in the United Kingdom. Once again a official DVD of the actual show will be released in early June.

Wow, fantastic. I was going to order it from www.amazon.de (and get Dieter-Der Film at the same time) but considering I'm saving my money at the moment, this ain't so bad. How long does it usually take to recieve stuff from them though?

CD WOW have the Dieter film for £6.99, which I imagine is a fair bit cheaper than amazon.de
In my experience, stuff takes about 5 days from ordering, which is also quicker than amazon.de

Wow, the DVD? That it is. Just it's really tricky if i'm going to order it from then, as it might arrive after I go on hols, where as I probably wouldn't with Amazon.de, although only because they say it's out on the 28th.

I went in loads of shops today and the prices were outrageous ! I refused to pay £14/15 for it, so I've bought it online after all.

I got ripped off for it for £12.99 at Smiths, last year it was only £9.99 in Woollies. so £14.99 seems a tad steep.
It's only £8.95 on Play.com!

CDWOW had it for £8.75 and I got it the day it was released in the UK because I pre-ordered, why anyone would pay the overpriced amounts the UK retailers charge I have no idea

After my post I decided to go out and buy it (from Smiths too), but then I decided to take that one back (it was cracked anyway) and just wait for the, cheaper, Amazon version to come.. I'm strange, I know, lol
Anyway, Amazon price is £8.99
