While browsing on the Westlife forums to see if they'd found out about the charts, I stumbled across this bunch of lovelies: They're called Broken Hill (why?) and are managed by Keith Duffy, of all people. One of them is called "Enzo", another "Jay-B". They sound even worse than Upfrunt and Boysterous, though possibly not as bad as Boulavard. Apparently they write all their own songs, and aren't manufactured! How exciting. I'm sure they're marvellous.

Well at least it's not Elmo and Jay-Z I suppose.

I dont think it is possible to be worse than boulevard. they are'nt ugly really. I would like to know why the second on from the left is wearing black masking tape on his T shirt and looks like hes just been beaten up.
i cant see them doing very well really. I mean Westlife are supposed to be the king of boybands, and they've only just made the top 5 with a brand new single.
Maybe they will replace them or just bomb.

Oooh. "Hardcore"
I would really love for them to "bounce" by my school too. Just for the heck of it!
And they're double booked! Oh the irony!

Broken Hill are surely just the shot in the arm that pop needs right now.... or is that shot to the head?

They are not a patch on D-Side, which I can catagorically state despite not hearing Broken Hill's song. Hopefully I will never have to either, because nothing closely associated with Keith Duffy can be any good.

Maybe Sophie EB will nab 'em when she shoots from the hip!
Has anyone seen the message board? It's so classy!

Have Porklife fans found out and reacted to the news yet? If you're talking about the charts, then no, they haven't. But I want to be around when they do.

I really want to *run away screaming*. The life-forms at the Westlife board are extremely scary. The last comment just about sums it all up.

Perhaps they have realised that this is the end of Westlife? Oh, God no! They won't even realise that when Westlife split.

It's a different subject from what I assumed, but whatever..... Their forum looks out of date. Discuss.

I posted about them last week in The Dumper on The Old PJ assuming that they were another boyband that never got to releasing their first single. They were being talked about back in 2001. Is this a bad thing?
What I find most exciting about them is where they got their name. Keith named them after the place where Boyzone's plane crashed when they were in Australia. He was in the cock-pit. Is this an omen maybe?
More fantastically, Mikey Graham, what used to be in Boyzone, was ment to be producing some of their 'material'. I wait on the edge of my seat.

They all sound the same to me (which makes me sound quite old) I have never liked boybands anyway me neither. although i do quite like the sound of some of the 888 tracks. that seems to be what a boyband should do - fun bragging up tempo stuff. not all this ballad toss
