The lyrics kill it for me and the songs' production is boring mostly. Alizee's cds were only bought by children when she was popular. Not even french gays liked her.

Well in her live DVD there are planty gayers of the mademoiselle kind, and, granted, many kids too. But that's the standard, you get that crowd for all pop acts, really.

I own both her albums, but in my defence, I liked the dance mix of 'Moi, Lolita', and listening to her music and singing along etc helps me improve my French pronounciation etc, which as a French degree student, is important. But yes, her music's not amazing.

Given that Amelle is now arguably the strongest vocalist in the group I find this hardly likely! I think joining the group has given her a good platform for a future career. I really am obsessed with the Sugas now in a way I never was before she joined! Ditto that. I actually find myself wanting to be her.

They'd better release Gotta Be You as a single eventually- Follow Me Home is great but loses a lot without Mutya and in terms of singles is too similar to previous, superior material (most notably Stronger and Caught In A Moment). I reckon it'd do the traditional Sugababe fourth single thing of entering near the arse end of the top 10, where as Gotta Be You has top 5 written all over its crunk lite loveliness. Heidi's "turn the lights down low" might just be the musical highlight of the entire album. Besides, I don't think it's that far removed from previous material- it would have fit in perfectly on Angels With Dirty Faces.

It Ain't Easy should be the next single - one of the few tracks on TIMW with a pulse.

So you're from Paris? What are you doing liking non-french popstars? Isn't there a french law that you HAVE to only like Johnny Halliday, Mylene, Celine, Zazie, Etienne and various Star Academie contestants? Not a bad law really! French music is crap. Period. What about Emilie Simon? I really like "Végétal"! I take it "Follow Me Home" will be the last single, followed by a new track to promote the greatest hits that's happening at the end of the year.

From the Official site:
New Single: Follow Me Home The ‘babes release their new single ‘Follow Me Home’ on June 5th. It’s the fourth single from their massive album ‘Taller In More Ways’! The girls are still touring the UK and after a couple of days well earned rest at the end of next week they will be flying off to Prague for 3 days to shoot the new video.
