The Mirror printed the setlist from Take That's tour today and I think it's a pretty interesting mix - Once You've Tasted Love
- Pray
- Today I've Lost You - (new track)
- Why Can't I Wake Up With You
- It Only Takes A Minute
- Babe
- Everything Changes
- Million Love Songs
- Beatles medley
- How Deep Is Your Love
- Love Ain't Here Anymore
- Sure
- Relight My Fire (with Beverley Knight)
- Back For Good
- Could It Be Magic - with Robbie Williams
- Never Forget
I think it's really intresting they're opening with Once You've Tasted Love - however I certainly support the idea as it's one of my favourite Take That songs. I think they should have put in their brilliant version of Whatever You Do To Me from the 1994 tour - it was my highlight of them Live In Berlin. I don't think there are any other glaring ommissions. Maybe a few more songs from Nobody Else such as Nobody Else seeing as I think it's a great ballad. I don't suppose anyone from here caught the show last night did they? I'm interested as to how the Robbie Hologram and re-recorded lyrics came out.

My heart jumped into my throat when I saw that they opened with "Once You've Tasted Love". BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pity there was no "I Can Make It", "How Can It Be" or "Wasting My Time". Maybe next time!
Can't wait 'til Sunday!

She'll be doing the stadium dates, Beverley Knight is doing the arena dates.

I've not long come back from their second night and I've never, ever enjoyed a show so much in my life. I can say that with the utmost sincerity. There was rain (with umbrellas!), fire, a Beatles medley, breakdancing, dirty ho-bag dancers, an array of costumes and suits that made them look as fit as fuck.....Oh my god. I didn't want it to end! The hologram of Robbie was a little grainy at first, but then it got clearer and you should have heard the screams! He was 'wearing' an army jacket and ripped jeans, and it was generally lovely. I've totally lost my voice, plus I nearly lost my life when they came down the middle of the arena, right by where we were, back to the stage after the Beatles medley where they were on a little raised platform right above us. I got crushed into several hard, plastic seats as everyone rushed to grab them. Soooo worth it though. I had goosebumps from start to finish; it was fucking awesome. When I heard the opening of Never Forget I actually felt myself well up! I spent a ridiculous amount of money on merchandise as well, but hey, student loan came through today and what better way to waste it?! Keep an eye out for the pants with ''it only takes a minute'' on them......Genius. Beverley Knight was on top form too, and wearing a very nice sparkly top, and then a kick-ass red and black corset-type outfit for 'relight my fire' . Would have her over Lulu any day. One question though: WHERE THE FUCK WERE THE SUGABABES?!

Sugababes are doing the stadiums, Beverley Knight the arenas.
I feel like this has been misunderstood by practically everyone!

Looking over that setlist just reminds how truly, truly shit Take That were. Rubbish songs, cheapo production, horrendous dance routines. Ugh. It's nice that they're giving their fans another chance to catch this 'live experience', but fucking hell, what a load of old shit they were.

There was quite a time between Beverley's set and Take That's so that's why I figured they'd be appearing, but instead we were left waiting for what seemed like years. Gave me time to buy more beer though, so all wasn't lost.

Rubbish songs, cheapo production, horrendous dance routines. . You say that like it's a bad thing. I'd pay to see Jason Orange just stand there ... Which at his age (and seeing as he isn't one of the main singers) that's all about all he does (hee hee). But hey, they said they'd do it and they did. At least they fulfilled their promise unlike The Spice Girls that girl group whom shall remain nameless. x

In my mind, Take That exist in two entirely separate and incompatible forms. One is the terrible cheesy boyband, who recorded their albums in a week, shamelessly courted publicity and are responsible for Robbie Williams. The other is the band who gave us Back For Good, were among the best chat show guests of all time, and who became almost magesterial by the end of their career.
The question is: which Take That is real? And which one is on tour at the moment?

The Spice Girls never promised to reform. Frankly, I don't want them to - it could never live up to what it was back then.
The annoying thing about the Spice Girls was not telling anyone they'd split up, leaving some fans still wondering when the next record was coming out as late as 2003!

Gary has apparently said that Robbie "has told Mark he is definitely coming back".

Yeah, Vic Newton mentions it in the Scum. All very vague. Gary claims not to know if/when Rob will turn up as they don't speak. Yeah, right.
All I know is that if Rob DOES turn up for any show I will cry. At the age of 33.

No, I don't want a full-on reunion either. Just a Greatest Hits with all the girls' involvement and maybe a chat show or two with all them together. They don't have to sing though; just give a final goodbye and put an end to it.

Has anyone heard if the show is going to be on TV? Seems like something that would be. There's bound to be a DVD at least.

I went on Sunday night and it was brilliant. It started off a bit slowly but everyone in the audience was really hyped up anyway so it didnt really matter. There were a few boo's when Robbie was mentioned. Howard apologised for saying that they'd be around for as long as the fans wanted them around, and then split up. They walked through the audience on the way back from the round stage in the middle of the arena (where they had peformed the Beatles medley, How Deep Is Your Love and Love Aint Here Anymore).
I cant wait to see them again in June at Manchester Stadium. The Sugababes AND Beverley Knight are the supports for the stadium dates.

Sounds awesome! I am a bitI can't articulate my thoughts well enough now but TT DID fill my pop needs back in 1992 till the Spice Girls Miracle so will always be loving them somwhow. And we have to thank them for the wonders of Worlds Apart, BBI, EYC and the rest of the boybands that followed them.

The CC came out at the merchandise stall, couldnt resist - even bough a bloody glow stick, how 1990! Fantastic 2 nights tho, better than I could ever have imagined. Mark got lost on Sunday night coming back to the stage, and then on Monday, he walked right in front of us...did I touch...of course I did!

Fucking aceness on a stick! I am consumed with excitement now (I'm going to see the Glasgow show). I must admit that I read this: When I heard the opening of Never Forget I actually felt myself well up! As "When I heard the opening of Never Forget I felt myself up!" I believe this is what psychiatrists call 'projection'.

Musta missed that one! Well no, but they never 'officially' broke up and they used to be very vague about their situation. They still are see-sawing up and down about a 'reunion' or a 'greatest hits' or a '10th anniversary this and that'. TT at least made a statement and then stuck to it.

take that's reunion documentary from last year is out on dvd this week, with extra parts not shown on tv. was a great documentary, so the dvd should be interesting...
