am i the only one who thinks a press conference to announce either a preganancy or split is a bit excessive? surely a statement for either would be suffice?

"We have learned that Britney Spears is parting with her record label and has recently been taking meetings, trying to get a new deal. No word on whether she is leaving on her own accord or she was dropped."
I seriously don't believe she'd be dropped from Jive; and I don't know why she's parting with them if she did re-sign with them last year.

^Maybe Jive have massive issues with K-Fed and the whole second preggers thing. I mean they have been wanting another album for a while. Now if she is pregnant again she wont be fit to promote for at least another year. Britney is their signiture artist though. I doubt they would let her go. Maybe it's her decision.

As for Britney, a little drama is great. I mean look how she married and divorced on the same night, how brilliant was that? But this Federline thing has brought her down. Quite frankly the man is a self serving fool.
If she announces another pregnancy she's as good as finished.
If she announces a parting with her label....that's a tricky one.
If she announces she's going to remarry the guy she dumped after one night, that's going to be hilarious.

Everywhere is saying that Britney is having a press conference today. Not just the fan sites. Must have been a slow news day and extremely lazy journalism - the conference rumour started ages before ITV and MTV Germany reported it, and Britney's publicist denied it. Also, PerezHilton.com updated the article a few hours, saying that Britney is still with Jive, and that she has no intention of leaving, or vice-versa. |
