Reminds me a lot of Whole Lotta History, right down to Heidi on a bed and looking out of a window (a'la The Tweedy). I think there's some sort of Communist stuff going on in it.

It looks like these dodgy Russian geezers have taken pretty young ladies as their naughty sex slaves and the Babes seem to be involved. The scenes with Amelle show her being recorded and Heidi is seen through surveillance footage at one point. The wierdest and possibly ickiest bit is when the guy is jumping on the bed and the girl in the Yodelling outfit watches. It creeped me out, maybe because I imagined something extra gross to fill in the blanks. It's a gorgeous video overall though, bizzare narrative aside. Who directed it? And why are the Babes getting properly flashy vids only after Mutya left?

Scruffy, I think you are correct, I thought it was something like sex slaves... And again, you are correct the Sugababes's videos have got good since Mutya's departure.

Well in the Mutya days they had good ones too. Ugly and Push the Button were fine but the last 2 just seem a lot glossier and high budget. Am I right in assuming Jake Nava directed Red Dress at least. The current one is a bit too downbeat compared to what Nava usually does.

I love the video. Sure, the message is less obvious than Ugly's one, but it's really smart.
I really like how it was directed and some shots were really intresting.

Nah it doesn't like me. It says I'm downloading another file. But I'm not downloading anything. Perhaps a browser problem. Never mind, I'll have to catch it when some genius puts it on YouTube.

So what does this "sex slave" message have to do with the actual song? I'm confused. It looks nice though and the babes have never looked so good!

ah nice video.. i think its got something to do with prostitution..... i think...
its the first time ive heard amelles version of this.. it brings out amelles voice and she sounds great.
i just thought of something funny.. i reckon sugababes should cover 'the penis song'from the sweetest thihng, and make a video too. that would be sweet...
harmonising to "your too big to fit in here, to fit in here, to fit in here"

Child abuse, prostitution, alcoholism and how they would prevent it by taking care of their offsprings.

Just watched the video again on YouTube. Paid attention this time. Found it a bit upsetting for some reason. And it ruined my own interpretation of what the song was about.

It reminds of the Whole Lotta History video.
The child abuse theme seems to move away from what I originally imagined when I heard the track, Mutya telling Thalia that she would always be there for her, but overall it looks very nice, if a little depressing.
I adored Mutya's version a lot, but Amelle makes it even more beautiful!

I think its quite disturbing, too, I wonder what Mutya thinks, since it was about Tahlia, and now it seems to be about protection, specifically from abuse.

I found it uncomforatble to watch, which for a promo video, isnt a good thing.
Um...Keidi's hair looks nice

I found it uncomforatble to watch, which for a promo video, isnt a good thing. Um...Keidi's hair looks nice I really think it could go either way with this song. Firstly, the whole ballad thing in June doesnt seem to go down too well, since people look for summer-y songs, and now with this video, it seems like it will be less well perceived. On the other hand, a shocking video never seems to do much harm sales-wise, unless you're George Michael.

I didn't find it disturbing at all, more thought-provoking.
There are some very close similarities to Whole Lotta History though. Amelle could be Kimberley in the first closeup shot. It's wierd. They're also alike because they're both quite dull videos, despite being beautiful songs.
