Good on TOTP Saturday, even better when co-hosting TOTP. Give Fearne the job full time and on her own.

Good on TOTP Saturday, even better when co-hosting TOTP. Give Fearne the job full time and on her own. She is amusing, and seems to actually know about music, or know more than the Kashinder at least. And she doens't make me wanna smash the TV when she talks. I remember the day after the first all new TOTP show, my drama teacher said "There's just something not right about the way his mouth move when he talks."

My god it's a sorry state of affairs when that's the list of possible candidates.
What's Bruno Brooks doing nowadays?
Oh and is that other guy who was presenting it last night, is he there to make Tim look good?

I'd like to see popstars present it each week. They did that a few years ago I seem to remember.

The main problem I have with Kash is that he can't seem to ad lib in any way and his lines sound over rehearsed unlike the other presenters who have been on recently.
Kash is like one of those DJs who always gets the details wrong and as such, doesn't know much about music.
I'd like to see the guy who does MTV at the Movies; he also does the voice over for Camp Jim and Made.

I'd like to see popstars present it each week. They did that a few years ago I seem to remember. It was a bit crap though. Imagine the dumper bound acts they'd be attracting week after week. I couldn't cope with Lisa Scott Lee and Liberty X desperately plugging their latest release whilst introducing the new number one each week with a grin on their orange faces and bitter bitter resentment in their stomachs.

Bring back Jayne Middlemiss! She was by far the best presenter of recent years and always failed completely to hide her contempt when people like 911 were on.
Can you imagine what her reaction would be to Sam and Mark?

Didn't she present the fab 'Threes A Crowd'? No that's Claudia Winkleman. An ace presenter, but not right for TOTP. She is sadly missed on Liquid News though...

Jayne Middlemiss presents some travel show on Five now on a Friday night which I think is actually on at the same time as TOTP. She also did a genius dating show on Five which never seemed to take off. The woman is a comedy legend. Get rid of Kash and get her back!!

In camp Jim did they ever fail the Cheerleading trial at the end? And Jim with his "Camp Jim" t-shirt. Classic

Dave Berry, as in MTV Dave Berry. God. I think he's vile looking.
I agree about Lauren. Anyone bar Kash would be good. I don't like that Reggie dude either.
I quite like the idea of having just a VO. The links only total a minute or two thru' the whole show so it wouldn't really take anything away from it.
Perhaps they should give Brian Dowling a call..

Yes on the Lauren thing. I've changed my mind again. I should be one or two of the bunch below:
Lauren Laverne (sp?) Katy Hill Fearne Cotton Emma Bunton ('cos she's ace) Jane Middlemiss Dave Berry (but he 'belongs' to MTV doesn't he?) Andi Peters Barney from CBBC
Or just let popstars present it like they did a while ago.

All good. Except Katy Hill. I can't stand her. Her voice really grates on me.
Are they still doing it live?

NATALIE CASEY! I forgot to put her on the list. I loved her on Select and Video Clash live. But I think she's too crude for the BBC.

Oh very good Natalie Casey would be excellent.
But I think Anna Krumble (sp?) from CBBC would be very good and she would be able to show her contempt at the popstars who still have deals and have never been shafted by their management!

I'd say Andi Peters it's only because i grew up watching him when i was a kid,and i just find that Fern is a little bit annoying at times.

He was Irish and hot and I can never remember his name. I think he should present it just so I can look at him.

Ahh thanks for that. He always reminded me a bit of the drummer from the Dum Dums. He was presenting some show on Play UK (was that the name?) for a while before that channel disappeared. Which is a shame as not only did it have him on, but Rock Profile as well.
