Can't say I am, though I might catch a bit over the weekend. The adverts have put me off a bit though, they were so fucking patronising. Especially the one taking the piss out of hippies. They created you!

Just watching The White Stripes. I wish I could be there, they're fucking great, totally insane, though. I plan to go next year for sure.

Jack White looked and sounded like the most evil man on the planet tonight. Meg looked very fit.

Jack White looked and sounded like the most evil man on the planet tonight. Meg looked very fit. Jack White is clearly better than Jack Black. I bet he doesn't even smell of JD and cigarettes, but weird herbal teas and catnip. If one were to go on a date with him, he'd play you Procol Harem and Dolly Parton and make you drink opium, before screaming manically as his eyes rolled back, all while eating rye bread with chilli.

Jack White looked like Johnny Depp when he finished the set. "We're sorry about the rain, we're sorry we're american". haha
Thought WS were brilliant though.

I plan to go next year for sure. Good luck- Michael Eavis has said there isn't going to be another one till 2007. The White Stripes set up was great, but it was watching The Killers that made me mourn my lack of being there. Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with- I pray the BBC shows Willy Mason's set.

I thought The White Stripes were terrible. The set was nice, but they just seemed a bit dead.
The Killers were great, I don't like the diamond keyboard thing though. Be Your Own Pet were fantastic too.

Glastonbury is rather good.
I'm watching BBC Three coverage and I think the atmosphere really makes me want to go there. It looks great.

If anything ever made me glad I seldom leave the house for anything further away than the pub, it's the Glastonbury coverage. Pretty much universally shit. And it rained. Fools.

Rather liked the bit when Coldplay did Kylie. Me too. Though it was so predictable that "Can't Get You..." was chosen. "Hand On Your Heart" or "Put Yourself In My Place" (for example) would have been a bit more inspired For all I slag Coldplay off, though, they delivered the goods with that set, and Chris came across as quite lovely, I thought. Loved that we had five channels to choose from (BBCs 2, 3 and 4 plus two interactive channels). Switching over as fast I as I could from Athlete and Razorlight was a joy, and meant I could enjoy at my will the fabulousness of Futureheads, New Order and KT Tunstall.

It's the first year we can get BBC TWO where I live and I was very much looking forward to watching the Glastonbury coverage. So I was a tad disappointed to see the BBC decided this year to split it between 4 channels I obviously can't get. Oh well. What I saw was very good though. I think I might end up buying the Keane album after successfully resisting the urge for over a year now.

Coldplay's set was fantastic, 'Fix You' was a fantastic way to finish it.
I've really enjoyed watching the Glastonbury Highlights, what a blast it would be to actually be there.

Anyone watch it this afternoon, Kasier Chiefs were great. Also some bassanova type group did a cover of "Love Will Tear us Apart" That was Nouvelle Vague - they sing the cover of I Melt With You which features on the phone adverts (I think for T-mobile but I could be wrong) where a girl or boy avoids being hit by things falling on them. Their whole album is of covers but from what I've heard it's very good and I Melt With You needs to be released right away. Jessica

Did basement jaxx do any tribute to the Minogue? I was loving the carboard cutout from the Fever era! Also who was Briggy smale (or whatever shes called) talking on BBC3 when she mentioned someone man taking all his clothes off on stage and then doing it again to show her his cock? t xx
