i am sure i cannot possibly the only person who realises what a pile of utter shite natasha beddingfields song is. It was fucking NUMBER ONE on CDUK this morning.
Its bad enough having her podgy brother whine and over act and fortunately break his neck whithout having to sit through her singing about how she can't write a song: WE KNOW! WE HEARD THE FUCKING SONG.
The way she uses notes (B.C.D. etc) is beyond naff. Its cringeworthy. Its like a shit song from Smack the Pony .
The way she namechecks poets is pretentious.
its just awful.
she makes Peter Andre look deep.
Please say there are no more Beddingfields. I couldn't bear it.
Hopefully it won't be long before she snaps her neck too- then both the wankers will be out of action and out of the charts.

Sorry to break the news - they've got another little sister waiting to release music.

There is one more to come. Nikola, I believe?
And while I dislike her voice and think her music is just okay, I'm quite pleased she's Number One. Preferable to 3 of a Kind, surely?
And there's no double-d in her surname.

Im sorry but I have to disagree I totally believe Natatsha Bedingfield has an amazing talent she has a fantastic voice...when she did party in the park she blew everyone away when she sang live she was fantastic. I am actually a huge fan of hers and Daniel...if them two did a duet it would be pure quality!

Not only is it one of the best songs released this year, she's also infinitely more fanciable than her brother and she's currently the best dressed popstar in the country. If this is representitive of the quality of the Double X side of the Bedingfield family then I say bring on the sister.

it's of no surprise to me that if you consider daniel to be any good that of course you would fall for natasha too.
hopefully theres a heredity disease that slowly (or rather quickly) rots their vocal cords.
The thought of ANOTHER one horrifies me. Do we really need another over-sincere, dull as fuck, pretentious Bedingfield (one D)?
No. and if you think we do need another- I bet you think Robbie Williams is hugely talented too. Nuff said.

I disagree. I think she is fresh, very pretty and can hold a tune and a very gifted song writer. I don't think the song is pretenscious but very very clever use of lyrics

the Bedingfields (one D) are just so SUBURBAN.
Its all wedding music.
Its bank clerks doing karaoke.
Its hideously insincere.
C'mon Dr Bastard- where are you when I need you?!

Right, lets see: "But I feel so A-D-D" WHOA! CLEVER! I feel add! "Clever rhymes, see you later" at least that bits true. "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you" Must have taken her months to write that- clever. "Read some Byron, Shelly and Keats Resided in over a Hip-Hop beat I'm having trouble saying what I mean With dead poets and drum machines I know I had some studio time booked But I couldn't find a killer hook Now you're gonna raise the bar right up Nothing I write is ever good enough" Do I even need to explain how horrendous this verse is. And it clearly is prentious. "No hyper bowl to hide behind" WHAT?? I think I've proved my point.

Oh that'll do fine!
I was puzzled there, but now it's cleared up. Phew!
I think that particular line is actually relatively clever.

Daniel is a fool and his only good song is Gotta Get Thru This.
I like Natasha Bedingfield, though. She's like a crappier version of Nelly Furtado. Which is still pretty ace.
What's up with NiKola? How Teutonic.

Having said that, the promotional campaign for "These Words" was so aggressive and OTT that I think I might have gone off her a little bit. She's not necessarily overexposed, but that song most definitely is.

And anyone who calls being single their 'declaration of independence' has got to be a bit of a twat, haven't they? especially when their follow-up single is about being all loved-up. Saw her perform both songs at a roadshow and the move from 'Single' to 'These Words' doesn't work at all. She just comes off looking like a total twat. The best part of the day was when she got the crowd to sing the 'I love you' bits back to her in 'These Words' everyone was singing 'I hate you' instead. She looked gutted.

You're making an effort with the text speak, but the constant 'Im' 'Theyre' etc is really getting exhausting on my eyes. Please? With sugar on top?

The ADD lyric in full goes "I tried to focus my attention, but I feel so ADD" which is hardly something you'd hear in most pop songs. And then there is "hyper bowl", or hyperbole as someone corrected you on. Which dictionary.com defines as... A figure of speech in which exaggeration is used for emphasis or effect, as in I could sleep for a year or This book weighs a ton. When one doesn't understand what they're talking about it really does make their entire argument fall flat.

like talking shite do we lol, having been to pretty much every summer gig she did in the UK (yes ive gone to as many pop fests on this summer as i could all over the country) and watching the audience reaction, (not just to her but all performers)never once heard people sing " i hate you" what a tit u r!
Have to say i go to alot of concerts and i do actually think the Bedingfields have talent... but im bias... i met them them all a number of times and know they rnt the tits ur claiming...

I <3 this song. She annoys me, though. I'm glad it's done better than 'Single', which was pretty rubbish (although I quite liked that too in a rubbishy kind of a way).
She also got the looks of the family. Surely no-one here can deny (and no, that's not a challenge) that Bedingfield v1.0 is the uglier of the two. Nor would he look as good in pigtails.
Fact of the matter is, her being number 1 means 3 Of A Kind aren't. And for that, she must be praised.

I have hated Babycakes from the start, don't get me wrong on this, but Bedingfield at number one, I really don't know that its that much better. The song is utterly dire, like she must have written it at 15 and thought she was so clever to include her GCSE poetry knowledge in it. Her voice grates, I'm surprised my ears haven't started bleeding.

I don't get 'These Words', in the same way I didn't get 'Dry Your Eyes'. Both are pretty mediocre songs (especially the latter) but everyone loves them.
'These Words' is all right, though. I don't love it but if it comes on the Box or something I won't switch over.

Oh, so you're bias, are you? If you only knew of the trouble you've caused over the course of history, you little minx... Anyway, I didn't get the ADD thing, I thought it was a clever muso thing about notes or something... I don't mind Natasha Beddingfield, she's the sort of the girl you'd meet in a club and call fabulous and then never think of again. Good luck to her.

the " i tried to focus my attention but i feel so add" line is very clever... basicly she tried to focus so she could write, but she couldnt because she felt add, ie. couldnt hold her attention on anything longer than a spoon could. Add makes people hyperactive and unable to sit and concentrate on one thing for more than like 10 secs
