What a wanker - and a wilful fucking wanker at that, gleefully embroiled in a never ending cycle of cuntness, coming up with fresh tortures to unleash on the world, and just sort of breathing heavily and wearing a body suit made out of his dead sixties contemporaries and tucking his willy in between his legs to look like a lady and saying 'That's right, I'm Paul McCartney, choke on this', and then writing that song, and releasing that video, and just pissing all over us, and being allowed to do it. The prick.

I agree in a 'fab Macca wacky thumbd aloft' way but otherwise.... He's admittedly not released anything particularly worthwhile since 'Flowers In The Dirt' but I still would, plus someone's got to keep Wacko Jacko and Yoko in check (though Yoko is surprisingly every good in not raping her late husband's estate it has to be said).
I do like the irony that nearly 40 years since the public were a bit ho-hum about Jane Asher, and that Linda was never particularly popular and x-years on we're still up in arms (if not legs) about Heather, we still can't accept Macca's chosen love interest. Poor bloke really I suppose.
BUT, he's fucking ace live, he *is* an ex-Beatle , which like it or not still means something, he ain't doing badly for a 60+ year old, and the 'kabooms' of Live And Let Die make me jump.
And to reiterate, I still would.

Macca is part of one of the world's top writing teams so for that we can forgive him a lot.
Anyone who can write
Hey Jude, Yesterday,Long and winding road, help, With a little help from my friends to name just a few (and he and Lennon wrote hundreds) deserves respect

Yeah, but once you remove Frog Chorus and Jet from his back catalogue you're not really left with very much, are you?

Look, I used to be a toddler - and more recently than Paul McCartney was a Beatle, I might add - and everyone knows toddlers are really cool, but that doesn't mean I can go around acting like a wanker the whole time now and expect to get away with it purely on the strength of having once been incredibly cute and adorable. So the fact that he's an ex-Beatle is entirely moot. He's a twat and shouldn't be allowed.

Shut up, McCartney.

Despite the fact that he wrote some amazing songs, wasn't a bastard (Lennon), a new age monkey (Harrison) or a generalised idiot (do I really have to say it?), Macca will always be my least favourite Beatle. He is just so profoundly uncool. Is it any coincidence that his name is cock-er-ny ryhming slang for crap (pony and trap, pony, macaroini, maca)?
In case you're interested, my Beatle preference runs as follows:
1. John (for being cool and the best singer) 2. George (for being the best looking) 3. Ringo (for being a generalised idiot) 4. Paul (his missus made alright sausages)

paul & john were my least favourites, they wrote great songs. but attitudes put them down alot and taking a quote from Noel Gallagher which i have to agree with....
"the more i read about john lennon the more i hate him".

being a beatle doesn't excuse him, because he could have carried it well like Harrison. McCartney was always a twat, no matter what he's done.

My favourite has to be Ringo, it's a drummer thing, and he was Thomas the Tank Engine for God's sakes!
I went off Paul when he fell out with Michael Jackson over the whole back catalogue shenanigans. As if he couldn't afford it!

"the more i read about john lennon the more i hate him". Why is only Noel Gallagher deserving of capital letters? And why have you used ellipsis when the sentence required a colon? And what on earth is that comma doing in the first sentence? This is no good at all. Do it again. Just because it's the holidays that's no reason to slacken off.

I love the Beatles but i do find Paul McCartney rather smug.
Ringo is my favourite Beatle for no other reason than he went on to star in Caveman which was indeed a film of utter aceness!

Yes! Someone has done what I always wanted to do and attack Paul McCartney. He's so vile, honestly, that CD:UK performance a few years back when he sang Freeeeeeeedom. Talkin' about freeeeeeeedom to the startled audience ranks as one of the worst things I've seen ever on that show next to Jentina's Bad Ass Strippa performances. Fucking awful. Fucking old saggy faced twat!

Recently I was reminded of Paul's work in the early eighties.
'Temporary Secretary' was a bizarre and nice tune.
The Tug Of War Album hatched the bizarre singles 'Tug Of War' and 'Take It Away'
Pipes of Peace had 'Pipes of Peace' which had a bizarre and brilliant 'bridge' or something and 'Say Say Say' with Michael Jackson which had a hilarious movie/video.
Give My Regards To Broadstreet introduced the idea of single remixes being better than the actual songs.
And Paul appeared as Tracey's boyfriend in the video for 'They Don't Know'.
I don't like Paul McCartney, but credit goes where credit is due.
