The Cheeky Girls - Cheeky Flamenco released on the 27th September , how on earth did they get a contract!
Tripe at it's best.

The were invited to the premiere of LOTR: Return Of The King back in December and I wasn't. No wonder none of the stars bothered to turn up if they're the best 'celebrities' we can offer them. And they were wearing Bacofoil.
Also, they came to my school to film something for CBBC and the complete school ground to a standstill. They cornered off parts of the school especially for them. They're only the fucking Cheeky Girls!

to be fair, they are a bit talent-challenged.
their only real hook is that they're transylvanian, if they were from suburbia, no record company would look at them once, let alone twice.

Well in that case ( re novelty songs sell) i'm amazed we haven't had the other rejects from PI making the charts, what's his name in the gold jacket who sang Tainted Love and what about the clown who sang I believe I can fly ( was that the songs title) oh and Tarik, ..maybe there is still time.

how on earth did they get a contract! I think its "their own label". Aren't they another victim of a record company (? telstar) going bust, then no one else would sign them so they did it themselves. Sorry to be vague - I think my source for this might be the Sun, so its probably garbage (as is Cheeky Flamenco)

Cheeky Girls Christmas single will, apparently, be a cover of "Boys Boys Boys" with fellow parasite Andy Newton-Lee who was in Hollyoaks for 3 seconds...and a colossal knob-rash!

The trouble is that their releases have ceased to be novelty - how many more rubbish songs with Cheeky inserted do people want to hear?and they are no longer entertaining. The new video is so pointless and boring. But they can't be dumped.

I've said it before (twice, probably) and I'll say it again; If they're from Transylvania, I'll eat my black cape and novelty plastic fangs. Ten quid says they're a pair of karaoke dullards from Swindon who saw one too many episodes of Eurotrash and thought "Hang on, why don't we put on dodgy accents, hire a short dumpy woman to play the part of our boot of a mother and then get on some talent show?"

The Cheeky Girls are one of the worst pop acts ever.
They should be deported back to Rumania where they belong... they can suffer them instead of us.

I tend to think "they are harmless."
Let them get on with it.

They're not that bad. I'd rather listen to them then listen to that knobhead Usher or to Eamon for instance.
Their interviews are amusing for one thing (I read too much Smash Hits and TOTP I think) and their songs are catchy.
Not that I like them. Oh no.

The Cheeky Girls are a fantastic inspiration for us all. It proves being everythingly-challenged doesn't need to hold you back in dog.
And no Cheeky Girls mean no Cheeky Dog, and quite frankly, I couldn't live in a world with no Cheeky Dog.
