....a very musically challenged song.... Well, congrats for getting one thing right. Actually, it's not so much that it's a song from a musical, Lord knows there have been many great songs that have come from the stage down the years. No, it's more that it's so derivative of every song from every Lloyd-Webber musical that's come before. It's totally robotic, melodically banal and utterly uninspired. It sound like it's been written by a corporate committee whose sole aim is to generate $$$, which, I suspect, is not far from the truth.

ok i think not many people like this song because its from a musical and is not every1s taste of music. I study music and this is a well written, well sung song, u may thing duncans voice is awfull but its not, its a really good effort at a very musically challenged song for a pop singer. and as for "the random opera singer" every1 is new at somepoint Gah! It's nothing to do with it being from a musical. Sondheim, Gershwin, Lerner and Loewe (off the top of my head) have all written fantastic musicals with great songs in. It's to do with it being musically soporific, lyrically trite and the fact that Duncan and Keedie cannot remotely harmonise, resulting in a battle to be heard that sounds like rusty tin cans being scraped down a blackboard. Duncan seems like quite a nice bloke. Keedie has apparently signed a 7-figure contract with (I think) EMI classics. Listen! You can actually hear millions of pounds running down the drain.
