Much as all the hatred vented at Busted-killer tended only to keep his profile high on this board, isn't it also the case that writing lengthy posts damning Ms Stevens is only going to keep her in the public consciousness (or is this in fact a covertly ironic thread intent on drumming up interest in her much-hyped new release?).
Granted, she does seem quite a 'boring' personality, and was easily the least charismatic of the seven (and then six) on the four series of S Club adventures. She seemed happy to be the 'pretty one', even though Hannah was (and remains) easily more beautiful. However, I wasn't aware of her being a cunt during the S Club days (it always seemed to be Friends-fucker Tina who got the worst press).

No neither was I, I always thought Bradley was...? I thought it was amusing after the successs of Don't Stop Moving, when Bradley bragged that he was now being spoken of in the same breath as Bobby Brown (hardly a good role model for a clean-living S Clubber...).

I think being in a manufactured band has killed any personality Rachel might have. She's so inoffensive and bland, that's a throwback to the S Club days when they were all encouraged to be boring and smile constantly. Smiling when it means nothing. Funky Dory was so shite but I do agree with the Louise comparisons. Rachel will never make the big league of pop but she will be around to release some singles and melt into the background with a smile and a "I'd like to thank God for this style award..."

I find it SO hilarious how Rachel is always like "I love singing, its my passion" - yet the poor girl can't carry a tune. She doesn't know the meaning of passion. Why her vocals are so passionless. She sounds like Davros when she sings.

Who on earth would compare Bradley to Bobby Brown? That's hilarious! He made up his own rumours?! It's possible he was being ironic/taking the piss... but I don't think so. Then again nobody with a lion tattoo as risible as his (did he draw it himself?) can be accused of lacking irony. To give him his credit, he did a good job on their cover of Stevie Wonder's Lately. But the fact that the music scene has not, seemingly, heard a jot from Bradley since the demise of the greatest group on earth does tell us something.

Surely you're not breaking ranks? *Illegal 'shock' smiley* To keep this on topic, erm, yes I agree that Rachel Stevens has boring ways. I haven't heard her new song yet, but I doubt it'll change my mind.

Ah, had Busted been able to stick around for four studio albums like the mighty S Club, maybe then they'd be contenders for my favourite ever group... Maybe on purely musical terms I might be tempted now and again to put The Supremes or ABBA ahead of S Club... And while The Supremes were the greatest three-piece girl-group, Busted of course get my vote for most fabulous three-piece boy-group. They would also be a rather splendid two-piece boy-group, if only Maffew and Jim could be so persuaded.
All of which is wholly irrelevant to the issue of Rachel. I do seem to be getting good at diverging wildly off topic. But having mentioned ABBA, I think it worth recollecting that Dr Bastard's anointed saviour Billie Piper openly confessed that up until the Thank ABBA For The Music horror she had never heard of ABBA. Love 'em or hate 'em, you've got to admit it's pretty appalling for anyone with a 'pop music' career not only not to have heard of ABBA, but to admit it publicly. I daresay the dear, simple creature hadn't heard of Dr Who either, until her agent saw the pound signs.

She actually admitted to that? Jesus Christ there are some thick popstars out there. Which, of course, brings us nicely round to Rachel again...
'Maffew and Jim' - sounds/looks better than 'Sam and Mark' doesn't it?
