Yes, Rooster talk some shit sometimes, but look how pretty they are! If you just mute the sound on interviews they're just fine.
'Come Get Some' is one of my favourite songs for ages.
Nick has the best hair in the world and personally I like a man with active hands.
All four would get a good seeing to. Probably.
What's not to like?

'Come Get Some' is a very good song. As is 'Staring at The Sun'.
But would you class them as a pop band or something else?

The blond bass player is rather cute... ...Nick used to get bullied, because he had a lazy eye and was a cliche nerd. good old Bliss Magazine, this led to him bullying others. But back more to the subject at hand. Rooster are growing on me, not my favourite, not by a long way. but all the same; the music is really quite good (the two singles I've heard) and they are very good singing live.

No...I haven't said their music is crap. I don't think it's all that great but my point is I would not tell anyone their music taste is shit but high and mighty Nick did. Not not just that, he told a bunch of six year olds. I don't want to repeat myself, but- he didn't attack their tastes, he attacked the bands music. We all do that with people who's music we don't like, Its not the same as attacking someones taste. To be honest, I don't think he's ever said it quite like that. They've never said they're better then Busted, just different. This is one quote- it isn't constant. And he hasn't said his own music is better then anyone elses, not at all. I don't want this to become a rule-breaking argument, as we seem to be going round in circles here. I love Busted, I love Rooster, and I don't want to defend Nick to the hilt, but people say stupid things, as Miss Mack pointed out. Busted did it an awful lot too. Maybe all pretty boys in bands should just be forbidden from talking?

Maybe all pretty boys in bands should just be forbidden from talking? This seems to be happening already, judging by Tom n 'Arry becoming the offical spokespersons for McFlea.

This thread isn't about which member of Rooster/Busted/McFly/The Beatles is the fittest. It's about people thinking Rooster are untalented. Or is it? Because it appears the only real problem people have is that they say twattish things. Which, let's face it, we all do from time to time. I rather fancy I'm doing it right now. The fact of the matter is, they make bloody good music. Hooray!

Yep, I like Rooster, I have no objection to them at all. Not sure about the name though but I think that one has already been covered.

I went to see them last night and they were fucking awesome. They are totally tight as a band, great chemistry and just great muscians. Especially Luke their guitarist- he's quite amazing.

I met them a couple of weeks ago, and they are all really friendly and nice guys and they are actually brilliant live, but Nick does annoy me a bit with all that stuff he does with his hand

After listening to their album lots and lots I conclude that I think they're great. They may come across as being a bit twatish in interviews, but it's all about the music. It's a good pop album.

Ok... I can't stand rooster, Nick annoys me, And Yes, I loved Busted, But that has nothing to do with the fact i dont like rooster, There music, is not my taste.
and oddly, the staring at the sun video, oddly reminded me of sleeping with the light on video, oh i wonder.

Considering Rooster apparently don't like Busted, I'd find it a bit strange if they then started copying them.
That is what you're implying, right?

I much prefer Rooster to Busted. They seem a nice bunch of guys. Heard them live at Bradford switch on x-mas lights.

Harry....in the shower....*drools* Sorry, just wanted to say I think Rooster's album is quite good, some songs are bloody ace, but some do blend into one a bit. It seems silly to disregard/ not listen to a band's music just because of what the singer has said or done. I still listen to some R Kelly from time to time.

Will be seeing them at Reading Summer XS on June 5th - in my view, the music's good, but I think they're being marketed the wrong way. They want to be taken seriously, but appearing on TOTP Saturday all the time means Kerrang won't take them seriously. Appearing at Summer XS won't help either.

I agree, to some extend- they're on Totp Saturday when they have a single or album to promote, same as most acts. They tried to appeal to both markets but the pop market took to them much more. But to conteract the summer XS appearance, they are playing V2005. It will be interesting to see if they can straddle both.

*shudder* I'd rather not see them straddle anything. maybe just Nick ... ... who by the way was looking very hot on Popworld. They were nice on said show but I'm not liking their new song all that much.

I can now confirm that they are beyond ace live.
And Nick takes his top off.
So there.

The singer has posed naked for a gay men's magazine.
Fair play to him.

Dude, I never knew having a penis rendered one incapable of noticing someone's looks... [Insert feminist witticism here] Rooster are good-looking, well, two of them are. I'm not quite sold on the music though.
