I still can't believe that Miss Stevens gets slagged off for a lack of personality, yet Kylie somehow doesn't.
It's all due to her starting off in Neighbours of course...

I don't understand why she's playing Glastonbury. It just seems wrong.
I don't mind Kylie as a pop artist, but i think she's very dull when you see her interviewed.

Oh dear, responding to a Lee Ryan fan is not even worth putting 'finger to key' is it really?
I did think you were being ironic saying you were a "lee" fan. Sadly for you, you were not. Shame.

Yes but you love Lee Ryan so any point you make from now on can be considered void simply by looking at your name.

Miss Leeryanlover makes a good point, so I'm choosing to ignore her name (each to their own, I suppose!).
I don't 'get' the sex appeal thing, and I don't 'get' why whenever she's played in a club, the gays squeal with delight. Yes, she has a handful of very strong songs, but I find most of her music as dull and charisma-free as she comes across in interviews.
Yes, Kylie, you can come out with the 'I don't talk about my private life' line all the time, but you're an entertainer - you're supposed to keep us amused!

I'm not into her music (Red Blooded Woman was good though) but she seems like a pretty stand up sort of girl. What ever surgery she has had she looks good on. Also, as has already been noted, starring in 'Neighbours' makes her somewhat untouchable.

I'm not even going to try and explain why I think Kylie is a goddess and should be worshipped as such. Clearly those who think differently are without eyes and ears, so I'm not about to draw attention to it. All I will say is this-
If I look like that when I'm 36, I'll be bloody happy.

Given that she is supposedly prune-like or even equine in her ugliness, has no personality and gives crap interviews, and to boot the fact that she is "short" (how dare she!), isn't it remarkable how her musical career has spanned 16 years? Perchance this has something to do with the fact that her music is actually quite good? (Yes, I know Cliff Richard also has staying power (and the use of a good botox clinic).)
Let me also add that I can taste the bile rising at the thought of what Lee Ryan will look like when he's 26, let alone 36. But hey ho.

? (Yes, I know Cliff Richard also has staying power (and the use of a good botox clinic).) If you've heard the genius that is 'We Don't Talk Anymore' you would understand exactly why Sir Cliff has enjoyed such longevity. Why is everyone dissing horses here? Horses are beautiful creatures.

If I look like that when I'm 36, I'll be bloody happy. Well you can. All you need is a shit load of Botox and instead of dancing in clubs all you need to do is strike various "poses" this will reduce the ageing process by at least 10 years. It will also make you look incredibly boring. I hope when i'm 36 i'll still be able to move my legs and arms at the same time. I hate Kylie with a PASSION!

She needs to grow up.
She's nearly fucking 40 and still prancing around in floaty dresses and doing those "robotic" dance moves. I think shes completely overrated, she was great a few years ago, but now she seems to be scraping the barrel with her songs.
Just bugger off, get married and have some kids FOR GOD'S SAKE.

I don't mind her music, but she is a total personality-free zone. She is also a bit of an odd choice for a Glasto headliner, but she won't get bottled.

Why should she? She's still really successful. She looks gorgeous, she presents a better role model than someone like Courtney Love, who did just that - and would we want to be like her? Hell no. Why should a successful woman be derided for what she's achieved and her alternate 'career' to be marrying and kids? This is the 21st Century.

Why should a successful woman be derided for what she's achieved and her alternate 'career' to be marrying and kids? This is the 21st Century. Why the hell does a pop star need to be a role model? Courney Love may seem like a pop star these days, but she is 100% alternative. She is a legend, and can go places musically Kylie could not even dream of: Celebrity Skin, Pretty On The Inside, Beautiful Son, 20 Years In The Dakota, Malibu, Miss World, She Walks On Me, Doll Parts, Dicknail ... enough said. I do like Kylie. I personally think she let not just her fans but herself down with BL. I do not like being made to feel tricked into liking something. There was nothing original and free-flowing about that record, not one song. She should be redeeming herself with this tour, of which I have tickets for in March. I Believe In You is also my favourite song of hers.

Mmmm personally I'd prefer it the other way round! Hell, I wouldn't care when it comes to him. Any way would be fine! As for Kylie, I don't possess BL. I adored Red Blooded Woman though, and I Believe In You is fantastic, if ever so slightly overplayed (but that's my own fault for putting it on repeat.) And she does have a figure to die for- surgically enhanced or not. She has the money, she can spend it on what she likes; people are obsessed with the way she looks, so I don't see a problem with keeping her appearance young and youthful. She's in the public eye and there's pressure on celebrities to look good. If everything starts to go south when I'm in my thirties, I may consider calling in a bit of help myself. But we'll see. That's a looooooong way away.

No one would care if she actually did look "young and youthful" but she looks hideous, that is the point. I was driving while my friend read the Heat magazine I purchased at the petrol station. Driving on the motorway he held up a picture of Minogue in a hat, close-up and I screamed. She might have subtley changed her appearance, but the effect has been to dramatically alter it for some reason. The only person who appears to have benefited from plastic surgery recently seems to have been Madge. Cher enjoyed success going under the knife in her late thirties and early forties, but that spell of looking the shit has dried. Janet is one of the "mainstream's" worst offenders. I love how she got fat, then must have had lipo everywhere else but her butt to make herself appear like it was naturally that huge. It was disgusting.

What was so scream-inducing about the picture?
