Voted for Angels as best song-ever since it came out it has set my teeth on edge,so I was biased against it anyway, but no way does that tosser deserve to win over Queen.

Whilst Joss Stone winning best urban is clearly a travesty, Robbie's win is worse, the category has a certain thought-up-at-the-last-minute feel about it, and probably only added to keep Radio 2 happy.

I want to know what he meant by singing the chorus of Love Will Tear Us Apart after Angels - was that a dig, or was he admitting his embarrasment that his turgid pish had beaten a true classic? Be thankful he didn't attempt Wuthering Heights...

Be thankful he didn't attempt Wuthering Heights... That would indeed have been a special moment, and even more horrendous had Miss Stone attempted to wail along in imitation of Kate. I'm surprised Robbie didn't throw in Leave Right Now, just to piss off Will (although it's probably a bit harmonically advanced for Rob).

Bohemian Rhapsody always wins 'Best song ever' polls so if had one this one at the Brits I for one would have been very miffed. Robbie's cuntiness aside, Angels is a good song, a classic one at that. If Will had sung it you'd all be wanting it to win.

I mean, clearly Williams was embarassed by the whole thing. But it's his own fucking fault and he should shoulder responsibility.
What I find so achingly depressing is that the 'best' song of the last 25 years is the song which is the soundtrack to Friday night vomiting, punch-ups and date rape drugging. It is inextricably linked in my mind with:
-smart shoes, black jeans and fucking YSL shirts -Yates' Wine Lodges -Thuggery -Truly debased human behaviour
It is also one of the worst Karaoke songs ever, as people always think they can sing it when, of course, they can't. Hearing people SHOUT the higher lines of the chorus down an already booming sound system is a horrible experience, but one which occurs every hour of every night throughout the land.
Somehow this pisses me off on a higher level that Bohemian Rhapsody winning best song ever awards. It is a shameful reflection on our national identity.

Be thankful he didn't attempt Wuthering Heights... Indeed. I think Kate Bush or Joy Division should have won anyway.

I think the dance award was dropped because Basement Jaxx have (deservedly) won it every year for, like, the last twenty years or something.
Best Rock was a farce.
Scissor Sisters trounced everyone! God Bless them and their spangly trousers and excellent singing watermelons.

Well done to McFly also, who won a brit award. They really deserved it, and also for winning Smash Hits Poll Winners Awards 'stars of the year' and their other 4 awards (well danny earned one) so yeah trully deserved.
