Well, hello there popjustice boarders. How are you all? I'm just jolly, thanking you.
Anyhoo, more to the point of this thread
The Noise Next Door were sensationally dropped from their record label this week. Oh, tear tear.
BUT
DO NOT LIVE IN FEAR, MY FRIENDS!!
Because they are now signed to Warner Bros. Ohh, yay!
Heres a letter from the boys themselves...
Well hello everyone..... Well the big news is that we have just signed a new world-wide major record deal with Warner Bros. Home to label mates Green Day as well as as My Chemical Romance, Madonna, REM and loads of others..... The other big news is that we are recording two new singles this week and when we have decided which one we like the best it will be released on MONDAY MAY 30th..... Also the web site is going to get a make-over so watch out this week for some major changes.... Thanks for all your support and see you all soon, Ed, Craig and Scott
Haha, I love the shameless Green Day and My Chemical Romance plug.
(CAN I STRESS AT THIS MOMENT I AM NOT AND I REPEAT NOT A NOISE NEXT DOOR FAN)

Who were they originally signed with then?
Let me get this straight, they were signed with a record company, record company drops them and then they manage to get a deal straight away? That's crazy! Surely Warner Bro's have heard/seen The Noise Next Door? Why don't they want to resign V?! V were miles better. This is a pop injustice.

They were signed with John Mclaughlin's (sp?) lable, then signed to Warners and it's just wrong.

Oh, is that all? That they were dropped and resigned? Why tease me so?! I was hoping the good news would be that they were dead or something. There would be no bad news in my eyes, if that were the case.

They were signed with John Mclaughlin's (sp?) lable, then signed to Warners and it's just wrong. Is that the person that co-wrote some tracks on Busted's first album, but they didn't want him helping them on their second album? Although he didn't actually help much with the writing, he just tidied the songs up and so he had to have credit. I wonder if they'll be any better under the new label.

TNND shouldn't be allowed to breathe Madonna's name.

So the news basically is that TNND used to have a record contract, and now they still do?

I'm glad I saw Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway at the weekend, because now I can put a face to the name. It will be so much easier to track John McLaughlin down and rip out his organs with my bare hands now I actually know what he looks like!

What a cruel twist of fate, first they get dropped (yay) then get signed to another presumably bigger record label (boo, hiss etc...). This is Popinjustice of the highest order, I feel dirty just reading about it.
To be entirely superficial for a moment, if they were atleast remotely good looking I could see their possible appeal, but their ugliness is at times quite overpowering.

i don't think as many people would have hated them with such a passion if they didn't say on their first appearance (or near enough to) "we're inbetween busted and green day, we're cooler than buted but not as cool as green day yet"
er...i would have said you were inbetween the cheeky girls and busted, like cheeky girls because you are all clones and near busted because you have guitars...thats it!
