...Yes, she's an absolute cunt. I am aware there are infinite Hallihell hating threads but surely this documentary warrants another one. It beggars belief at how this squat troll could have been in the greatest band of the 20th Century. What a sad old woman. Shes like a female David Brent. Did she actually commission this show? I defy anyone to feel a shred of sympathy for her throughout. The diminutive harpy is loathsome. Her constant anectdotes and profound self-help pyscho bile is migraine inducing. No wonder she can't get a man - who would deal with all that baggage except for her loyal band of gays? And what is with the continual 'Doyerknowarramean'? She claims she couldn't be doing whatever the fuck she does at 48 years of age. Didn't she reach that milestone 15 years ago? The shrivelled, vinegar-soaked hag should be carbon dated.
I also found it creepy that she named her latest rat/canine hybrid 'Daddy'.
This constant attention seeking must stop. Geri should have died of anorexia a long time ago.
The only good bit was her self inflicted 'choreography' for Ride It. She appeared to base it on that old woman who died in disco flick 54.

Ouch. I think Geri is alright. She was in the Spice Girls for god's sake. That immediately makes her way cooler than about 99.9% of the rest of the world. Including you, monsta.

I think sometimes she lends herself to critiscism, and this didn't show her in her best light (She kind of apologised for it on her site) but still, I think I probably love the Geri for all the reasons others would hate her.

I used to really like her when she was in the Spice Girls. I can't believe how wrong I was!!! She's a mad old woman! Totally fucking mental and crazy. Doing her own choreography! Crying about going on Top Gear! Sacking her manager every 4 months!!
If I was her I'd shoot myself. There's no coming back from a programme like that. That's killed off whatever tiny shred of hope for a come back she might have had.

People said exactly the same thing after her first documentary. All publicity is good publicity, in my opinion and lots of people like the fact that she's a freak.

I hate anorexic attention seekers that feel the need to confess everything in their professionally unsatisfying lives. Let's face it, her new album is going to flop and quite rightly too.
I want to evolve in the artistic department!
Why? You can't make miracles from medicore material, you just can't, especially when the material is a bulimic talent vortex from pop hell.

annie says it best (from "me plus one"):
when the people around you won't tell you how it is don't you think it's gone on long enough? take a look at yourself get out of the car you know it's time you've got to let it go...it's gone

I'm halfway through the album. So far, the less-than-wonderful Desire is the best thing on it. Oh dear.
Her shoehorning of a self-help book title into her song lyric cracks me up almost as much as Dr Bastard's avowed hatred of attention seekers. It's a bit like Serena Williams announcing that she doesn't like tennis players.

Do you really think she's got an eating disorder? All of the people I know with eating disorders refused to get help because it would just reinforce everyone's opinions of them 'Oh she's just anorexic'. Throwing around 'anorexic' and 'bulimic' just belittles what the two different conditions are. It's childish and hurtful. You say 'anorexic attention seekers' as if you know of many others. I think your personal experiences affect your opinion of Geri far too much. Geri may be an attention seeker, but you have to remember, she's been given that attention for some reason or another. She must have something going for her.

I'm halfway through the album. So far, the less-than-wonderful Desire is the best thing on it. Oh dear. I'm distressed by how much Desire is now growing on me. Also, having made it all the way to the end of the album I can report that it's an improvement on Scream If You Wanna...(though still a bit ropey and bizarre) and that Let Me Love You More is lovely. Even if it is crying out for a stronger voice (possibly that of Sharleen Spiteri).

I honestly think Geri's pop career could be improved by sudden death.

I have endured the new album for as long as I can and the only positive thing I have to say is that its an improvement on Scream If You Wanna Go Faster. Which doesn't say much.
I admit I like 100% Love but the genius is that its been omitted from Passion. Perhaps because it isn't themed round some Loose Women topic like the rest of her tripe.
The cunt has even been cashing in on the terrible Kylie news by sending her best wishes. Obviously she had to remind us that she also once found a lump. Which wasn't cancer.
God I hate her.

I guess Dannii, Pete Waterman and the other celebs that commented are cashing in too? Geri and Kylie are friends, they did the lesbian kiss long before Madonna and Britney!

What a load of shite. I guess Dannii, Pete Waterman and the other celebs that commented are cashing in too? Geri and Kylie are friends, they did the lesbian kiss long before Madonna and Britney! Except the examples you give actually have some sort of close connection with Kylie. Apart from that TFI appearance, have Kylie and Geri actually ever been in the same room? Geri wants to BE Kylie- 'Ultimate Showgirl' anyone?- and fails on every level. Anyway this isn't about Charlene, I was merely making the point that Halliwell will whore herself anywhere to get her name in the paper. Its a disease.

I find it exceptionally hard to take your comments about her doing anything to get her name in the paper, with Jordon in your sig! Geri wishes Kylie well Vs Jordon in the glossys barely covering her pregnant body with some scraps of wool! Nothing against the jordan but this is slightly hypocritical.

JordAn with an 'A' is a comedy genius who provides hours of endless entertainment with her wonderful fashion sense, boss hair and angelic singing voice. Geri has none of these qualities. She is an old woman who should have been sent off to graze a long time ago. After Viva Forever for instance. We would have had all those wonderful memories of her and not those of her poledancing out of giant cunts, raiding bins for a piece of Sara Lee Lemon Meringue Pie or cantering through the streets of Soho like a prune-faced Lady Godiva. Anyway who actually said you had to like the person to feature them as your avatar?

None of the issues you raise above adress the fact that JordAn is probably more attention seeking than Geri.
Geri has always supported breast cancer charities, so it would be a bit weird if when she was asked about Kylie she didn't point out that cancer doesn't discriminate and encourage women to check themselves- which is what she said. I hardly think trying to raise cancer awareness is hurting anyone.
In other news, isn't it slightly redundant having 'Vote for me' under your lovely Jordan picture. I'm assuming you mean in eurovision, but she already lost out to Javine, remember? And that was just the heats.

Yes I am fully aware that Javine won. Actually 'Vote For Me!' has become something of a catchphrase amongst me and my associates.I don't expect anyone to understand. Katie magnificently shoehorned those words into the final part of Not Just Anybody. It was so subtle, you may have thought it was part of the actual lyrics. If we are going to be pedantic about out of date things such as my caption, perhaps you should consider altering your username. The Spice Girls - I presume that is who you are referring to and not that powdery stuff you get in jars- disbanded a fair few years ago. Are they still relevent in today's Girls Aloud ruled society? And if you find Jordan more attention seeking than Halliwell why don't you start a new thread in which to vent your spleen instead of clogging this one up.

As a Geri fan I clearly don't take issue with attention seekers! It was your hypocritical statement that troubled me, not Jordan herself who I quite like.

Girls Aloud- whilst great in their own little way- will never EVER match the Spice Girls in terms of cultural impact, ever. So yes, the spice girls are still relevant thank you. Send me any more unanswered connundrums on an SAE.

Are they still relevent in today's Girls Aloud ruled society? How is this a "Girls Aloud ruled society"... I like Girls Aloud; but they certaintly have not had or will ever have the impact the Spice Girls had.

You are definately not alone, I still watch this before I go out, and it never fails to delight. She could have used it again if she had went through, and in different languages if she could pull it off. As far as me and my friends are concerned it is up their with Vanilla's but it's YOUR LUCKY NIGHT.

Comparisons to Girls Aloud and the Spice Girls result only in people realising that musically, Girls Aloud are so far ahead of the Spices that Vicky B and crew can't even see them. Sound Of The Underground versus Wannabe? Sorry! The Aloud win hands down.
And Geri is desperate to be the new Kylie. If any proof is needed that Geri has actively went after Kylie's crown then take a look at the promo material for her flop tour that was cancelled after nobody bought tickets.
"See the real showgirl."
What a cheek.
