His new single, Belly Dancer Bananza or what the fuck ever it's called. What the FUCK is that!? Aaaargh and Lonely is worse than Crazy Frog, irritating sub human noise. The sad thing is he has an unusual voice that could be put to better use. Also, Locked Up is ridiculous. Yes it's completely the police's fault you're in prison for stealing a car with no registration. And them not letting you out is kind of the whole point you cretin. Google image search provides this when you type in Akon: Christ that shit on Ashanti's head is sucking the lifeforce from Westwood! Look at his cold dead hands! <drops bomb sound in lieu of nothing>

I've had to avoid music television for the past few weeks, because of Akon being on the Box all of the bloody time.

He is indeed the king of The Box monopolisation, with Ciara as his weavalicious queen, G Unit his armed guard, and the Crazy Frog the highlarious royal jester. I really truly think that if we culled all the fourteen year olds currently living in Britain who regularly phone in to The Box, all of the country's problems would magically evaporate.

It is annoying how confused he seems that the police 'won't let me out'. It shouldn't be a complex issue to work through when you've broken the law...
Lonely is also ridiculously bad, and his 'dancing'- waddling about with arms outstretched- annoys me.
On the other hand I thought I heard him saying that he disagrees with rap's obsession with violence and money- which is good. Hmmm.

On the other hand I thought I heard him saying that he disagrees with rap's obsession with violence and money- which is good. Hmmm. Sadly, it doesn't make his music any more bearable. I'm surprised at the 'unusual voice' comment. I find his voice incredibly boring and expressionless. As for Belly Dancer, it's a good way less irritating than either of the two previous singles, and you can at least dance to it, but it's still standard-issue R&B of the type R Kelly regularly inflicts on us. It seems a sad inevitability that all the least exciting music in the genre somehow finds its way to the top.

I am hoping Akon won't be on our playlist for a while next year, because I don't think I could put up with any more of it right now.
