Is anyone else getting sick of hearing/seeing "Hung Up" on TV or radio?
It seems that everytime I switch either on I hear the bloody song somewhere. The other day the video was on The Box, TMF, The Hits and "Smash Hits" simutaneously, and then it came on VH1 afterwards. And it's always on one of the radio stations I listen to: Rix FM in Sweden, PWL Radio and Radio 1.
I like the song but it just seems as if the media is completely saturated by it, and I don't know how much more I can take of Madonna in that leotard! It's beginning to give me nightmares!

I still love it so far. It just pleases me to hear it cos I can hope that every time I hear it someone else does too and thinks "ooh, this pop music thing isn't so bad after all!"
If it wasn't Madonna it would only be some crap r'n'b or something.

It's never really grown on me, which is somewhat alarming.

I like the song, but I've seen Madonna more the last weekend than I've seen my parents!

Still loving this song, it just makes you want to get up and dance, I need to hear it out in a club as well, I reckon it would sound even better on big speakers

I hate the phone ad - Biggie's dead, you dumb bitch!!!!! Im pretty sure she knows that.. And so's motzart but he's in the ad too, but thier music is still there.. meaning you can still download it onto your moto phone using itunes.. which is what the ad is about.. being able to fit all that music in your phone.. unlike being able to fit all the artists in the phonebox.. Anyhow back on topic.. today hung up was on the music channels constantly.. you turn over after hearing it once and then it's starting again.. but i think the bad thing is.. i sit and watch it every time. hehe But cant beat hearing it at the club.. the dance floor was packed by the first line of the song. And normaly the club only plays a song once a night but they played hung up twice and gimme gimme gimme

Didn't anyone tell her that leotard was a mistake? I know she's looking good for someone her age, but the look isn't exactly flattering - especially just under her bum!
Do you think the cover of the single and album have been photoshopped?

I hate the phone ad - Biggie's dead, you dumb bitch!!!!! I'm not too happy about the whole concept of making a joke about the weight of a dead guy. But hey, that's mobile phone companies for you. I still like Hung Up, though.

I was pelted in HMV when I went to buy this - twice! They couldn't have been any younger than 18, but looked older than I do. It completely put me off browsing for an album to buy. This makes the song all the more victorious for me - it doesn't include little wankers like that. Shame there was no real point buying both copies, as the alternate mixes are well shit, and they have the same fucking covers. I'm gonna take the 2-track back and get Kate Bush to hear Sexual Healing.
And the arse comment was quite apt - it screams middle-aged Blackpool drag queen.

I'm not too happy about the whole concept of making a joke about the weight of a dead guy. Exactly. I have a love-hate relationship with Madonna. I love loads of her songs and Madonna the pop star but I can't stand her phoniness. Now she loves New York again and London's boring? Well, nobody asked her to marry Lord Ritchie and bang on about living the Horse and Hound dream. It's the desperately fake inflexion in her voice in the ad that gets me. She so doesn't need to sell out that much. Of course, I realise that loving Madonna the pop star means accepting Madonna the vampiric shape-shifting zeitgeist-surfing ABBA-sampling uberbitch. And I do, Madge. I do.

I'm sick of Hung Up too. I haven't heard it anywhere near as much as say...Satellites by that lovely lady in your avatar and it's getting on my nerves.
Unlike the latter that I can listen to on repeat and not get sick of it.
I'm only comparing because they're both pop dance songs.

I was in the sixth form study area/place/room/thing 'studying' one day and suddenly one of my friends burst in, and her mp3 player was blasting Hung Up out of it's diddy headphones.
Silence breaker or what?! it really was poetry in motion...
... anyway: more to the point - I love this song

When I first heard Hung Up I could never imagine myself getting sick of it. But hearing it on the radio and TV (and in niteclubs) constantly has put me off it a bit. It's still a great song and I wish I hadn't tired of it so quickly. I've moved onto "Sorry" on "Confessions" now, before the rest of the world hears it and every DJ in the country is playing it once an hour.

I have to say I was rather disappointed with the album. And i can't imagine it being a cult-classic album like some of Madonna's other's. For me, I hate remixes, and this album seems to be one giant remix. I do give the album credit. I know good when I hear it, and it's good. Hung Up, Sorry, Push, and How High. But other than that I find it boring. I know, I'm satan for saying this all. But really, I wish she would have gone and was hoping this album would have a more "Ray Of Light" and "Frozen" feel to it. I like it when Madonna uses her voice.

It's still all over the clubs and I'm fucking livid that nobody is dancing to it with the routines that Madonna demands.
Fist and bend and cross and hold and up and clap and to-the-side and box-roll and release.
It has to be done.

Despite my little complaint, it's still a grower. I just love how the Abba flute sound from mute to loud comes out and the hypnotic 14 times "So slowly" in the middle. It'll still be growing on me all the way into 2006 just like when Kylie's CGYOOMH grewed in me from 2001 all the way to the end of 2002.

A You need to come out with me and my friends then- the other night, pissed as a fart, my mate gets in the middle of the floor and does practically every damn step in the routine. I couldn't help cheering her on- what a legend........

I really really hate 'Hung Up'. It coming on for the second time on NYE is what made me leave the club. I know this makes me not a proper gay, but I honestly haven't liked anything Madonna has done since the (gob-smackingly awesome) Like A Prayer album, with the possible exception of Bedtime Stories.

A friend of mine did his back in trying to do the bit where she bends backwards and touches the floor. That's horrible but at the same time quite funny really. My Aunty tried to do part of the dance at the family New Years bash apparently - I saw the video footage, it was quite funny watching a slightly largeish 30-something year old mother of two trying to hump a stereo system.

Even I - a die hard Maddy fan - realised things were getting out of hand when I walked in on my Dad watching the cricket and it was being played during some ropey bowling tribute.
