You can't sing live in stadiums as the sound takes too long to travel to the back. That's why most people choose to mime!

Mmm, Queen, Madonna, etc; etc; at Wembley might disagree, the new Wembley will be massive doubt they'll all mime there!

I doubt the sound of fireworks coming off through the microphone would equal a a good performance.
I love the song.

Mmm, think she mimed that, but she was still fabulous and I won't hear a word said against her!

But that's allowed because she's Kylie and she can go on TV and say how it was live when it blatantly wasn't.

They almost always lipsynch at these things. During the Superbowl they usually lipsynch; ever since the Ashley Simpson fiasco, everyone is off their tits to perform live. Roll eyes. It sounds crap when they perform live. It isn't rigged like a proper concert.
I like the Commonwealth games: Canada wins medals! (actually we do well in the Winter Olympics (obviously) but we suck in the Summer Olympics).
LOVED the fireworks!
Men's gymnastics is on day one; to-morrow! Yum.

Meanwhile, how bloody good was she! Miming is great when it sounds good like that. On to important things, what was the song? Is it a new song of her's? Because I darn well loved it. It was very dramatic. There was a key change and choir and everything.

The song is called "Together We Are One" which she co-wrote with Guy Chambers & Brian McFadden.
I don't care about the miming, I was more interested in looking at her boobies.

Funny that, though. I've always seen Delta as a "credible" artist who tries really hard and is under-rated. I like some of her stuff, and she has a fantastic voice, but she's so boring and half of her album(s) just drag on.
I saw her mime "Born To Try" on GM:TV once and was shocked. I guess this doesn't surprise me too much, except I really thought she wouldn't mime again.
Acoustics in stadiums are horrid, but that's no excuse to mime - even Ashlee Simpson touched it out at the Orange Bowl (ouch!). Although her vocals were shit, I still give her props were not miming.

Christ, not more friggin rubbish sports on TV.
Thought to be fair (and I want to get this on a t-shirt), lip-synching is not a crime.

I'm not at all convinced that she did, indeed, mime... If she did, it was the best lip synching job I've ever seen!
