They may play their own instruments, but Interpol find making videos "tiring". Add to this, the group doesn't even dance, let alone synchronize steps.
They told MTV News: "We’ve made some videos that we all stand by, and they are good videos,” he said, “but it takes a lot out of you. It’s a lot of repetitive things, doing it over and over again.”
Now let's have a look at their genius method for songwriting: “It’s probably one of the more collaborative tracks we’ve ever done. I had a main riff, and everyone started adding their own little piece that made the song really develop and become its own entity.
“Then when we went back to the chorus, Paul (Banks, singer) and I spontaneously went to the same chords. It’s one of those songs that’s really difficult stylistically from the album, but everything that happened happened without (discussion). It was all on instinct.”
There you go. 1/500th the effort put into an album from *NSync.
Boo fucking hoo, etc.

Very lazy. And they're re-releasing Slow Hands, the tarts. I thought, for some reason, that I'd imagined reading that somewhere. Why on earth are they re-releasing it? There's much better stuff on 'Antics' than 'Slow Hands'.

I generally hate all re-releases, but I think that's already been covered on another thread. I always thought Not Even Jail would have been a good single.

I love Interpol, but when I've seen them live they hardly seem to move around the stage at all.
A good example was when Bloc Party was supporting them, the contast couldn't have been more stark.
Kind of supports the lazyness theory. Also maybe they dress like that so they don't have to think of something to wear each time they go on stage?
This would obviously also support the theory.
