I really loved their song Strangest Things and Eeeaaaoooww was quite ace too, but no-one seems to know much about this group. They have an album out this week and they're very much the sort of group that all PJers should love. So I'm hoping at least one of you has heard/bought it and can tell me if it's any good before I spend any money on it myself. Thank you! Edit: Here's a picture to show how fabulous they are: And a review to prove it: CLICK!Jessica

Yes it's rather good and only £10 at Virgin at the moment, funnily enough I first heard them on John Peel and as I was buying the CD earlier this week it came on the in-store radio that he'd passed away..

I've reviewed that album for my student union magazine.
The press release said that Gary-Lightbody-off-Snow-Patrol-and-the-Reindeer-Section contributed on a song, but I don't know which one it is.

Gary co-wrote the final track What Are You Waiting For (not the Gwen Stefani one..)

I went looking for it last weekend but couldn't find it anywhere in Reading. I did try Virgin. I'll have to look again soon.

I finally found a copy of Strangest Things today - I hadn't thought of looking in the dance/electronica section. So now I have the CD and I am totally in love with it already! Sooo pleased I got it. I've written a review of it here if you're interested. To other people who've got it - what's your favourite track? I'm currently torn between Ask Me Tomorrow, Let Me Down and Slow, although Strangest Things itself is tough to beat. Jessica

My fave album of last year. (Yes, it was hard to say, but it is true.) I LOVE THIS ALBUM. It is purely excellent.

It was my favourite too, only just beating L.A.M.B. They've released several singles from this album now so maybe there'll be a new one in the pipeline soon? It seems such a huge waste for the genius of their debut not to be known.

Don't physically understand how it didn't do better, being such a fantastic album. Plus, the reviews it got were out of this world. Check out the website. www.freeformfive.comI pray that thay will be huge/ will make another record and be huge/ will not be added to the dumper.

I haven't heard the Mylo remix thats currently the hottest thing around (apparently) but I can confirm the Richard X remix of No More Conversations is tremendous..

Their web site never seems to work. It's all too clever for me I think.
They are apparently releasing No More Conversations as a single next week. There aren't many tracks left that haven't been released at some point, yet still no success. It's bizarre.
