Oh Yeah is a great song...the bassist is possibly the cutest girl ever. Funnily enough, I heard about them, The Kaiser Chiefs and The Futureheads on the night bus on the way back from a Girls Aloud performance. Wacky.

I like their video, and I'm always a sucker for scruffy young things belting out a bit of indie-pop lite.
Hurrah!

I'm disliking the new single; it's slower than Oh Yeah, and he sounds Welsh.

I love this new single, and they (Billy and Charlotte, I think) really are such a cute couple. They're album in a few weeks should be brilliant.

I saw them live in Leeds' Joseph's Well a few months ago, they're a good live band, but nothing really new. And yes, the bassist is pretty lush.

I saw them supporting the mighty Weezer a few weeks ago, and as a warm band they did quite well and got the audience going.

I love the album! Mary is such a happy, feel good song, and my god does the singer sound like the Liam thingie from Oasis, but he's still great.

The difference being that the Subways singer can sing live without being out of key and fucking useless.
Album's great - not too many duff songs.

Young For Eternity is one of the best albums of the year. I love the way it moves between the rock out songs (Young For Eternity, Holiday, With You, Oh Yeah) and the slower ones (Mary, No Goodbyes)
My favourites are Mary, cos it's so damn fab, No Goodbyes, Oh Yeah, Holiday, City Pavement and Young For Eternity. I like that it sounds really unpolished and "we just finished performing this in the garage" thing. We don't have that much anymore, and I think it's wicked.
Not sure of With You being the next single. They need a song that will break them into the public eye, and I think that either Mary, or a rerelease of Oh Yeah would do that. With You falls along side Oh Yeah and Rock & Roll Queen, and they need to show the public they can do other things than big, loud, screaming tracks, and Mary would be ideal for that.

If they re-release Oh Yeah, I will be pissed off. Too many good bands are re-releasing wicked indie tracks. It means that we'll get pissed-up yobs chanting it down to the kebab shop just after last orders.

With The Bravery rereleasing Unconditional and Kaiser's - I Predict A Riot, it'd seem a bit odd, but it's the only track on the album that'd break them into mainstream, other than Mary.
