Ace, quite frankly. A major step up from their first single which sounded like a really dodgy and pretentious sixth form college band.
This single doesnt sound far off that but manages to pull it off far more convincingly.

Ace indeed. They're growers too, so expect this thread to be way fatter by the time What's Hideous charts (subliminal go-buy-now message: IN THE TOP FIVE YOU SLAGS).
To think when some promo person gave me a 4-track jobby in 2003, it was sold on the blasphemy that they'd be "the next Darkness". Tut-tut, rhubarb-rhubarb, etc.

Except, of course, it's not, is it? It's just a crap record by some people who own a copy of Back in Black and who, on hearing The Darkness, didn't think, as any sane person did "Bit of a a one joke pony, but I Believe in a Thing Called Love is pretty good", but instead went "Wow! They're a good band to be influenced by" like a bunch of cocks.

Love them. Seen them support the Darkness, they were wrecked.

I really like What's Hideous, but I prefer its b-side, The Forgetful Tapier.
Theres something about the male singer (Nicolai?) that I find slyly attractive.

They may be a right rabble, but i'm looking forward to seeing them in ( ahem).......Aldershot on the 13/04.
Time for Deliverance was ace and I shall be purchasing the Yes! album. Of course, this could change if the gig is shite - but i have head nothing but good things about their gigs.

I saw them in Birmingham last night and they were good, even though I didn't know any of the songs. I got free badges which is always a bonus!

I got free badges which is always a bonus! If you join their street team you get free sweets ! I really want to see them when they come to Portsmouth but my friends are being annoying at the moment and I don't know if I want it to be ruined by being there with them. Even if you do get badges.

Time For Deliverance was cool but What's Hideous is surprisingly, strangely catchy! Put it this way, I'd rather have that in my head than Lindsay Lohan's pop offering!
Oh and joined up tal king - I find myself agreeing. No idea why he's attractive. Must be the eyeliner...
What's Hideous - not this song thats for sure! (yeah, I want to study journalism at uni this year. I guess my 'sharp wit' will have to be improved. And become more original.)
Over and out xxxx

I adore the 'how many people can we fit in a music room' charm of Time For Deliverance. I can't really put my finger on why it appeals so much. I know in theory I should see it as quite rightfully a bit rubbish.
Will definately investigate the album.

Theres something about the male singer (Nicolai?) that I find slyly attractive. Nah, He's a pound shop Jake Shears as far as I'm concerned! When I saw them he came out into the audience and I could've touched him but he looked a bit too sweaty..

If they're going to be compared to any of last year's top sellers, wouldn't it be Scissor Sisters? Even so, I think it's better to have groups of this type as opposed to the Noise Next Door, Freefaller et al.
