Another lovely debut album from one of the Zero 7 singers. (Mozez, it's your turn now.)
Three tracks are played and produced by Robin Guthrie and sound reassuringly like what one would expect from the two of them working together - nothing surprising, just very good. Elsewhere Sophie sings mostly-acoustic originals, some with interesting string work.
Mind you, this isn't an instant classic like "Colour the Small One", but it's quite nice.

I've been considering getting this. I've always loved Sophie's voice and was wondering when she'd get round to releasing something. Is it anything like Tina Dico's "Far"? I loved that mini-album - I wish she'd release the full-length LP though.

I'm the opposite here. I absolutely love Zero 7, as well as both the Sia and Tina Dico albums. So I couldn't wait to get this when it came out, especially as I adore Sophie's voice. But what a disappointment. Tuneless, boring and beneath her considerable talents, are what sprung to mind.............
