As in Mr. Blue Sky, the Electric Light Orchestra song from 1977(?).
It's been on that god-awful M&S advert, and I can't get it out of my head.
Now it's not like me to form obsessions, so I decided to try and find the whole song - and it turned out my parents had it on Vinyl (Vinyl!) - how "cool"!
Now I need closure - It is a great song... yes?

It was also used on the Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind soundtrack.
And The Delgados used to cover it.
God, I wish I didn't know that.

Yes, it's a terrific song, despite the lyrics being a bit shit, and it being by ELO. Any song which completely changes tack about halfway through and goes all grandiose rock-opera without losing the plot deserves respect in my book!

It's pretty good, though Last Train To London is better, although that might be a bit too disco for you Camden people.

Love, love, love this song especially the key change towards the end.
Probably one of my Top20/ Top 10 songs ever ! Who could not love it?

I love the Delgados' (RIP) cover. It was a highlight of their "Hate" tour.
So many brilliant hooks! This really ought to be sampled into a new pop song, but Atomic Kitten has covered it already - though with different verse melody and lyrics - as the disappointing "Be With You" from 2003.
