Here they go again. Bloody BOC with their "unique blend" of trippy, ethereal, melodic space-rock electronica, tediously getting four and five star reviews all over the place (what I have seen anyway).
Have ordered the new CD but not heard anything yet. Will anything they do ever match up to ROYGBIV?
anyone heard the new stuff?

Yes. It's brilliant. Just listened to it in the bath, and I thought: "Mmm, you could also say it's pleasant background music, nothing more." Have all these raving reviews and articles brainwashed me into thinking it's a work of genius, or is it really? I love how it sounds all warm and fuzzy and slightly off-key though.

How does it compare to the other two Albums? The second was a bit of a disapointment after the first.

Don't they have more than just the two? Anyway, their last one was their dark one, this is their happy one. This is all relative, of course. I love it.

Totally agree - I've listened to it 3 times now, which is at least once more than I listened to Geogaddi. It's nowhere near as good as Music Has the Right to Children, but that would be expecting a lot. If you're after something good to stick on the in the background, then you won't go far wrong with this.

In A Beautiful Place out in the Country was gorgeous.

In A Beautiful Place out in the Country was gorgeous. Mmm...definitely. Yeah, maybe I'm looking back at Geogaddi through blood-red-tinted spectacles...I just remember how disappointed I was that it was so different to MHTRTC.
