How fuckin amazing is this song!
Not really a good indicator for their second album, as there is nothing else remotely like it on there.
Still a great new album though.

How similar is it to Long Time Coming? I have their first album, but that's the only song I really paid attention to.

Well it is similar to Long Time Coming, though i guess it is a bit more "electronic".
Its a grower and I think much better than "Long Time Coming". Hideaway being a standout track for me.
I dont think anyone will be dissapointed.

I loved The Delays. Nearer Than Heaven was one of my favourite singles of 2004. They weren't bad live, either, though the Paul Calf lookylikey on synths did seem to have taken every pharmaceutical he could get his hands on before going on stage.
So if this new track is quite electronic I'm guessing the rest of the album isn't? If so, that's slightly disappointing, as the electronic bits on the songs were always what made them stand out from the pack. Which is exactly the same reason why Clor are so good on record and mediocre live.

I'm pretty sure he's the singer's brother, and his stage act gave me the impression he was doing everything he could to get a greater share of the limelight. Nothing like a bit of sibling rivalry to liven up a show. The last album was my favourite of 2004 - can't wait for this. And to see them live in March. Anyone else going to the London date?

Nothing like a bit of sibling rivalry to liven up a show. I think the band consists of two sets of brothers, but I've already been wrong once today.

Yes I'm sure there are brothers. One of them is called Greg, the other I've forgotten.
Lost In A Melody was one of my absolute favourites of 2004 but although I liked their other songs, none of them were anywhere near as ace as that. Valentine is good but again not as much so as LIAM.

Their debut is like that - all the songs are quite different from one another. My favorite by far is "Wanderlust"
Bummerboy (cute name) is right. This single is brilliant stuff. A few comments: 1) It sounds like Soft Cell / Duran / New Order and Ultravox all rolled into one. 2) It trips us with the Girls Aloud trick of being two songs in one! 3) The vocals are phenomenal and 4) a single about Hurricane Katrina!
Sure would love to hear that song Hideaway.. kiss kiss.

The album is pretty nice after one play, must give it a few more listens. Valentine is really growing on me.

Sounds like Jesus Jones doing Duran Duran (a good thing)

Hideaway is great, as is Cavalry. It's not a perfect CD but it's quite nice (have not heard all of it though)

God are they still going. Their hair always looks like shit and their music is tres bland. They look even more over-styled than Lost prophets.
