I blame Carola. We saw what happened with the Melodifestivalen dodgey voting.

i am Carola's lackey and masterminded it all. I'm not a very good lackey, hence why Carola got voted out.

I'm delighted Anzej is still there and hasn't got votes either! I've decided he's my favourite this year, the one I'm supporting (but I love lots of others too). It's just a big camp-fest with him and he's hilariously great.

Hi everyone,
We are now down to the final six. One of Slovenia, Belgium, FYR Macedonia, Ukraine, Sweden or Iceland will win!
One country will be voted off each day until Wednesday, when the final 2 will battle it out with each other. If there is a tie, then my decision is final!
Happy voting!
PS Keep an eye out for more polls after the contest itself, including the first annual PJESC Eurovision Awards, where awards will be given for the best (and worst) acts in many different categories!

There was a way of deciding who went between Carola and Tina, and that was who got the least votes throughout the rest of the competition and that was Tina.
Carola had already been saved once.

Yeah I see your point now, I think next year I'll need to set some ground rules for that sort of thing beforehand so I know what to do in this situation. Carola's gone now anyway and there are 4 left: Slovenia, FYR Macedonia, Iceland and Belgium, and they ALL come from the semi final. Personally I don't think all 4 will even qualify for the final, but we'll wait and see!
Voting will end at some point tomorrow, probably about tea time!

I know I'm probably being simple... but I am Welsh. In the last three am I still voting for the one I like the least? (rather than favourite)

Yes, you are still voting for the one you like least. I haven't decided whether to change that for the last vote tomorrow - it may confuse people!
Just Belgium, Slovenia and Iceland left. I can tell you that it's a close run battle at the moment between 2 of them for the second place in the final!

I like all the three that are left, although I'd have liked to see Carola and Texas Lightning do a bit better!

Personally I don't get Texas Lightning at all. I've listened to it lots and really tried to like it, but I just can't. Maybe it'll grow on me on the actual performance though.

So we are now down to the final 2; Slovenia and Belgium - one of them is going to win!
Apparently neither were performed very well in the dress rehersals though, and it's possible that one, or both might not even make the final!
But vote away - this time vote for your winner! I will announce the winner just before the semi final starts tomorrow at 8pm!

This is rather exciting...
Will there be a small but tasteful prize for the winner?
I should imagine that Slovenia would react with some sort of wild party if victory comes to this nation. If we do win, I'll keep you up to date with the street parties and other excitements. If we don't.... well... Poor Anžej.

I honestly don't think that he has a chance in hell in the real world, but I love him and think that he has a very good shot at being Slovenia's most successful entry yet (bigger even than Nuša Derenda).

Wow. The real winner gets a limousine from ERT. Admittedly limousines have had their glamour tarnished by hoards of hen nights and 21sts but still, it's a big prize.

A limousine?! I am so entering next year. The hen party crowd has spoiled them somewhat though, I agree.

Oh, Slovenia doesn't have a pup's chance in the real thing (although one can never be totally sure when it comes to the Eurosong) - but winning this poll would be exciting enough. Would there be a chance of a trophy in exchange for, let's say, some exclusive cape pictures?
Not that I'm trying to bribe the good voters or anything.
Oh, and Nuša's duet with Johnny Logan means that she can never be eclipsed!

Could be. It wouldn't be that bad. I think Sweden still has a chance though. Dunno about FYROM and Ukraine. Otherwise I think it'll be Germany or Croatia. Turkey has a teeny-weeny chance, but only if she switches to singing part of it in English.

I think Ukraine will do well but won't win. I am hopeful for Romania. After Luminita's great result last year, and a sort of similar song I think it could do well. He's a great singer as well, so I have my fingers crossed. But can Romania afford to hold both the Junior Eurovision and big Eurovision?

I think Romania benefitted from the semi-final last year though - it won it, after all. And wasn't that a surprise!
I wonder if there'll be a surprise winner in the semi this year. (Ukraine, anyone?)

Man, on on_europe's livejournal, they're saying:
And they're in the hall. Tomorrow is looking like it's going to be very tense, tight and dramatic. Excellent! (This comment came after Ukraine, incidentally.)
