Where are they put? How do they work? Carola was blowing the whole time, but I never saw any huge fans? Do they make it difficult to sing?

Are they small? For example it doesn't look like there was a lot of room for one in Alcazar's "Grillvagn" performance at Andra Chansen in 2004, yet the hair is certainly a-blowing.

Please explain.
