How ace are/were they? I was just listening to Rapture (the proper one, not Justin's excuse to touch Kylie's arse) and even when Debbie's bleating on about eating cars, I still wish she was my grandma.
I mean, how old is she? 102?
Blondie were great and possibly, maybe, still are.
Discuss.

She is rather cool, is Ms. Harry. Although I hoped she would have been abit less conservative when Graham Norton asked her what she though of the Kitten's cover of The Tide Is High.

The best bit in a Blondie song is when Debbie gets all agressive while singing 'one way, or another, I'm gonna lose ya...' all growly. Rarrrr.

The new one on mp3sfinder seems to just be them going through the motions though.
Not that this is a bad thing but Debbie's vocals are really beginning to suffer now.

I've never been a fan of blondie. ive never liked debbie harry's vocals- they seem so wishy washy to me. and their songs have never really struck me as wow what a great song. debbie is worshiped and ive just never really got into that, they just never have done or did, do it for me. plus kelly osbourne being a big debbie fan is never gonna help!

What did she say about it? That episode has not yet aired on my side of the pond. Well, she was sort of coy about it. It was extremely obvious what she thought of it (ie, how obscenely offensive she found it) but she was careful not to say it exactly. Graham took from her comments what he wanted to.

It's the complete opposite for me. I've kinda grown up with Blondie, my mum and stepdad both love them but I still find their songs totally amazing everytime I hear them. I go through phases where I love them and they're my favourite band, then I just forget about them until I accidentally play Call Me on Winamp.
