I hope I'm not the only one who also thinks Alex James is looking incredibly hot these days...

No, I thought so as well. have you all seen david walliams pretending to be alex james in "rock profiles"? its very funny, hes made out to be a really camp, posh character and he comes on to jamie theakston!

LEAVE ME ALONE from Boomania came on my shuffle yesterday to my sheer surprise and delight. Can't wait to hear the Wigwam album now.

I have Rock Profiles on DVD - I'm so watching this now! PS David Walliams acting a camp part? Must've been a stretch for him....

Why is Betty Boo performing at G-A-Y as 'Betty Boo' and not 'Wigwam'? Is this a fuck-up on G-A-Y's part or has there been another change in strategy?

I would say it's just g-a-y trying to cash in on the known name of 'Betty Boo' but then wigwam posted it as such on their myspace too. If that's run by the label, then maybe they are dullards. If it's actually posted by someone more close then who knows.

Then again, Alex James is doing a solo gig and Betty Boo is going to arrive (in time to save the day) and they'll both perform as Wigwam. I would suggest a similar scenario at G.A.Y.

I would imagine, though I don't know for sure, that it's advertised as Betty Boo so that people know that Alex will not be performing with her. It might also, and I'll point out again that I have no information on this, mean that she could be performing 'other' songs - not written or recorded as WigWam. It's all possible.

If she plays CloseThe Door on G.A.Y. I am gonna cry, then relocate. She won't though, so... Seriously if I see Betty live I will cry - Ithink she was the last popstar I liked in a "being a teen" way. After the mid 90's everything pop I liked, like The Spice Girls, Louise, Take That etc, it was in a "not supposed to be aimed at me but I like them anyway" way.

I was priveliged enough to speak to queen Betty today who told me there are other Wigwam songs on the way, plus a solo Boo project to come! She also hopes to do more club gigs. She says the G-A-Y gig is a Betty gig, she will be doing three Boo songs and two Wigwam ones. As soon as I've typed up the whole interview I'll put it on the Planet Boo website - will let youse know when that is...

Seems we all chatted to the Boo yesterday. I'll add to those exciting revelations her saying that she saw WigWam as a KLF-style group that could come and go as it pleased, change styles and feature guest singers...
Hoorah.

Draw one of those gorgeous pictures you do of her and submit them to her "people" somehow.
