Remember sometime back when we were talking about Dominika from Army of Lovers new group?
Well to be honest I found their first single "Oh Lord" a bit of a dissapointment but I decided to check their site today and discovered they released a second single last month called "Hardcore Life"!
Maybe it was mentioned and I missed but whatever it's an absolute stormer.
Anyone else love it?

It's great!
And apparently she's left the group. There's some Melodifestivalen 2004 entrant in her place.

Yeah, Camilla Brinck is the replacement, which was a big surprise to me since she's only sung "truthful" and "honest" pop music before, and Nouveau Riche isn't exactly that.
I haven't actually heard 'Hardcore Life', even if it's charted and everything.

Was it her that sang "Jenny"?
I really, really liked that song, but it seems very different from Nouveau Riche. And her appearance doesn't seem to fit either.

Yeah, she sang 'Jenny'. She also had a couple of hits back in 2001 in Sweden with 'Heaven' and 'Tell Me' which you might've heard. I don't think she fits well either, it'll be interesting to see her in action.
I love the latest message on the official site, which is totally ditching Camilla and then goes on about where you can find sexy pictures of Dominica. Clearly Dominica's "people" who runs the site.

That must be the end of this group then? Dominka was the only fabulous thing about that group. 'Oh Lord' was OK but there weren't even any vocals from Dominika from what I could hear, she just seemed to dress the act and pout and throw shapes in the video.

'Hardcore Life' is fun, something suitable for the modern Swedish Visage they are/were. Entering at #32 wasn't going to ensure an album release, anyway.
Am I the only one who finds the lyrics nonsensical? "if you're bigger than me, then I'm bigger than you, it's hardcore life"
?

Camilla's "Bye Bye Forever (Chiki Chiki)" was poptastic

Apparently Ulrich has put a lot of money and effort into this project, so he's not willing to give it up anytime soon!
Still haven't heard the song. Can't find it anywhere.

Haven't heard the song either - but the first one was plodding crap. Perhaps this one is better, but I don't think they'll go anywhere without Dominica since it was she who brought the publicity to the band.
It's fallen out of the charts completely in its second week, by the way. I guess it could yo-yo up though like a lot other entries does.

Actually, AcerBen, I haven't found it in shops either!
And tommie, there's a great chance it'll jump back in. Just look how 'Oh Lord' did: 34-07-OUT-07-OUT-07-OUT-06-OUT-14-OUT. Hilarious. Proves how utterly pathetic the Swedish single chart is.

Like popknark predicted - it's back in the charts at #7.
Am I the only one that finds these statistics slightly fishy? I know West End Girls did quite a bounce back and forth, but they never actually fell out of the charts and then just re-entered in the top 10... perhaps that's what Ulrich's been spending so much money on?
