Having never seen Street Fighter but having played DOA, I can bet that it will have less of a plot but more breasts. She might get some new fans from this movie, but I doubt those fans will be because of her music.

i dnt mind javine...1 word for holly valance...TALENTLESS erm...have you heard 'Hypnotic'...? It's simply amazing, listened to it lying on Clapham Common in the sunshine today. AWESOME! Had quite a Holly-filled day, they played 2 of her videos in our local gay nite-spot hehe

I thought Holly in the trailer did a pretty convincing pommy accent. Unlike other ex-pat australians cough cough Natalie Imbruglia, it seems Holly dosen't swan around Britian with an arty farty upper class British accent! Her acting looked pretty cool, especially when she asked the guy to strap her up And her singing is quite good actually, she just dosen't have the production budget of a Kylie or Britney

^ Didn't she have Nellee Hooper and one of the Poole's writing on her first record and the guy who did state of mind was quite well known (forgot who). Her production budget can't be that bad then really.

Weird, I've read thousands of comparisons, but I never noticed how much the Valance sounded like Kylie till tonight.

Her production budget can't be that bad then really. Yes she had Nellée Hooper, which I was going to post before you beat me to it - I think State of Mind is produced by Vertigo who aren't that well-known. There's a remix by Felix da Housecat though. And I'd imagine that the Poole sisters are that expensive. The reason i think you'll find that Hollys second album is so highly praised is because it is of such a high standard, and ahead of its time in terms of the electro eighties feel it had. I'd disagree, because State Of Mind came out about 18 months after Sugababes' Freak Like Me', which I'd credit with bringing that sort of sound back into the mainstream, and it was also released, more importantly, a couple of years after Kylie Minogue's "Fever", which had an entire album drawn from the same sort of influences (albeit with different, perhaps more bland, results). And before that, Madonna's Music, Daft Punk's Discovery... And lest we forget the electro scene that was messing about with this music long before these popstrels even had the idea. And let's be honest, saying "ahead of its time in terms of the electro eighties feel it had", is just asking to be shot down now isn't it? Sorry to sound all bitchy.
