Another AATW-esque six month wait before her next single?
Poor Liz. 'Woman In Love' started much, much more strongly than I expected, but it absolutely plumetted after its first two weeks. She needs a GREAT second song to make a serious stab at this solo career malarkey, and frankly i'm not confident...

Basically she'll release a more 'up tempo' second single that is only marginally worse than her first. It will chart at, oh, say number 13. Then she'll get dropped and an album will never see the light of day. Which is just as well as it would most likely be a pile of wank.

The next Atomic Kitten album, when all three realise that individually they have the appeal of a fur coat in the sahara.

Since she's on All Around The World, we might actually get her album, though.

don't put much money on it. Yes, that's what the AATW team seem to say to each other every time they sign yet another useless artist.

Poor Liz... I really liked Woman In Love, but she isn't exactly solo material really is she? She should get the girls from Atomic back together they didn't have a HUGE fall out did they?

I never understand why succesfull bands split to do thier own thing.. yeah take time out like 2 years or something all have a stab at getting to number 23 then get back together.. but no always ends in stupidiy.. thinking they will be the next robbie or beyonce..

I think Westlife are fully aware that none of them wold be anywhere as successful solo, in fact in Brian McFadden they've got the proof as they've seen him try and fail to be the next Robbie.

Funny you should mention Liz. She was on Irish chat show The Late Late Show last night as part of a discussion on sex ed for teens etc. I think she's part of some new safe sex campaign here or in the U.K. Anyway I saw a bit of her on it and she was actually quite articulate and likeable. More importantly my friend was in the audience, and was asked a question and hung out with Liz afterwards. I asked him to ask her about Popjustice but she said she'd never heard of it!
