So who can we potentially see as nominees already?
For Sure: Biology - Girls Aloud
Possibly: Red Dress - Sugababes I Said Never Again (But Here We Are) - Rachel Stevens No 1 - Goldfrapp Robbie Williams - Tripping
Any others? I know I haven't thought of too many.

Is Barbados part of the Commonwealth?
Does that even count?
It should do really. Though if it did, then Kylie's long overdue £20 or so I'd imagine. And then of course the gates are open for the Rogue Traders too.

There's no point in even having a shorlist - just give Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola and Sarah £4 each and save a whole load of debating.

If it doesn't then it HAS to be Biology. Or Push The Button, which is better than Red Dress. Red Dress is still a mighty pop song! But for me, Push The Button is something else.
Unless Push The Button doesn't count in some obscure way?

And if 'You Raise Me Up' doesn't get the worst single award, I will cry. A lot.

Who Am I is rubbish, i dont see the point on entering it when Sugababes and Girls Aloud piss all over that dreary snorefest that is Will Young!

Oh....
This has my interest piqued. Why the sudden change Mr PJ? Is it to make the voting fairer and give lesser pop acts a chance to win or is it for a reason totally different?

Lily Allen will win it. Surely?

I'm sure there will be a new rule which states that if your name is Rihanna you are eligible for the PJ £20/$37.20 music prize.

If that is true then SOS has a very good chance. I'd be torn over the voting...if I'm eligible to vote in the first place.

I don't know any rules from past or previous but I hope Rachel wins it. I Said Never Again (But Here We Are) is/was the best song of 2005.

Regarding Rhianna and S.O.S, (even though I don't see the big deal about this song; it's okay, but blah at the same time) I think a 'Commonwealth' prize is a good idea. Maybe change the prize money to the currency of the commonwealth country. So if a Canadian artist were to win 'the best' (haha ... that makes me giggle) it would only cost PJ £9.72! If they were to win 'the worst' it would cost the Canadian artist $41.15 CAD. I vote Avril Latrine for 'the worst'. That bitch needs to pay!

Robbie Williams - Tripping Surely Advetising Space, while not being great, is better than Tripping.

McSleazy is a genius. I've been trying to get my friends at Tronic to hire him for their monthly club (they do all sorts of electro in Glasgow) but I don't know how it's progressing.
Anyhoo...depending on how the voting works it's really an open race between a few pop acts as far as I'm concerned.

Well, if Commonwealth countries become eligible then so should American divas married to dodgy British film directors.
