Anyone a fan of this gorgeous epic stringy masterpiece? nice video too and kind of looks like Nigella Lawson which is a plus.

Yeah, bought the album, is a really great track, the album is OK, nice cover of 'Losing my mind', not as good as Liza's, no stomping synths but overall a nice mellow album. The Cullum is involved on some tracks but lets not hold that against her, and have seen her interviewed and she seems really sweet.

Hmm... the song is quite good, but *not quite there*, same as her delivery and her looks and... well everything. She's good, "but".
Anyway I hate the bitch for blatantly trying to steal Sarah Michelle Gellar's sonic ring. It could have been Laura Kelly but noooo.

I did download the track from iTunes but I don't think I've played it the whole way through yet, it's a bit dull.

Great song. As is her cover of Somewhere Only We Know. Sorry to say I think the Sondheim song (Losing My Mind) is utter shit, as is her cover of The Cardigans Communication. Still, I am getting the CD!

Losing My Mind is a fantastic, epic song - which is why I don't want to hear this version It couldn't ever be as majestic as Liza's, so what's the point? [/gay]
That said, I have heard her Keane cover and it beats the original - and There Was A Time is a good track. I also really like Communication, but then I've not heard the original, so I can't compare it.

I've heard the album and it's a bit rubbish really. I love the lush production (Marius DeVries is the producer for most, if not all, of it) on "There Was A Time," but she ruined "Communication" and she strips every ounce of emotion from Sia's "Numb" too.
I don't mind the Keane cover, but Natasha Bedingfield has also done it, and her version is far superior to the original and Laura M-K's version.

The album is a bit duff and i don't mean Hilary. But I'm a bit in love with 'there was a time' in an ooh this song reminds me a bit of my life experiences kind of way, definitely a grower.

Laura Michelle Kelly was fantastic as Mary Poppins!
I've only heard the song a couple of times on the radio though and it doesn't appear to be on 7digital...

Unfortunately not... I don't have an ipod (I've got a Sony mp3 player) and I (sneekily) download music at work so can't install software to download music.

i very much want to like this album...
but i think she is capable of so much better.
the production is lovely, money was obviously spent...
but the songs are so mediocre & bland....
& i dont feel like she's puting any personality into it (or @ least... i hope thats not her personality)

I don't know what made me buy the album... sounds a bit boring so far. Her next single is the Cardigans cover according to Music Week.

I have to say it's the kind of album that takes repeated listens. At first I hated the title track and Butterflies and now I think they're very nice. Give her a shot...
The Cardigans version of that track is soooooo much better, though I thnk LMK adds something to the Keane song. I am not so hot on that Cullum track though! It's deleted from my ipod.

I've been listening to the album a lot over the last two weeks and whilst I love There Was A Time and the title track (which could be the new Bond theme) I think her voice is a bit sweet on some of the tracks.
Overall though it's a very fluid album, and she does add something to Somewhere Only We Know, but then Charlotte Church could sing that song and not ruin it.

Communication, Numb and Somewhere Only We Know are three of my favourite songs, and she's done a crap job of covering them. What was the point really? Her fairly weak voice and the dull production have just made them sound a bit shit.
