Im quite looking forward to this. Has anyone heard it yet?
I loved the original. Nicki French is performing it at the end of this month (26th-29th May) at my local gay pub for a "Big Gay Weekend" charity event. should be good.!
Hint to PJ - be there.. anyone wants details if they wanna go etc then give me a message.
i wonder if its all clubbed up. how exciting.....

It's about time this tune suffered a total arrest of ther heart. Do we really need yet another version?

I think there's a huge question mark over whether we really needed the first one...

She's probably "re-releasing" this to try and ride the "clubbing up 80s hits" wave that was popular last year. The key words being *last year*.
I agree that it was pointless the first time around. The gauche melodrama of the Bonnie Tyler original made it of some interest. A danced up version with mediocre vocals is lazy club fodder.

The '95 version sounds amazingly dated now. I can't believe I ever liked it, it truly was APPALLING.

Bless her, she'll be flogging copies out of the back of an astra at her local car boot within a week.

Is she STILL around? How long has she been riding the back of a moderately successful cheap cover version?
Still it's not the worst cover of Total Eclipse Of The Heart. I remember that Jan Wayne cover of it. Fucking atrocious.
What I struggle to remember is anything else Nicki French has done. Oh yeah, she represented the UK for Eurovision once didn't she? With the apropriately titled Don't Play That Song Again.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Flush that bitch down the toilet. Nikki's not the turd that won't flush; she's the bloody formless skidmarks no one wants to go near to clean. When you go on emergency Bran Flakes diets you'll know exactly what I'm talking about, that's Nikki alright.
Did You Ever Really Love Me (Extended) is a gem in the danceable, ludicrous-melodrama genre of 'vagina and a disco beat' trashiness. If you're a fan of it, you'll faint faster than skipping a quew at the bank when you hear the Hex Hecor remix of Until We Meet Again by Diana Ross. Nikki French shall never be Diana Ross.
Someone get the fresh air spray.

Poor the Nicki French. I saw her doing a PA in some London gay fleapit around the time of her Eurovision 'bid', she was literally begging the audience to buy her single and, I quote, "put Nicki French back on top again".
She looked like your mum's best friend after a messy divorce with a possible drink problem.

I saw her at GAY around the Eurovision bid and she brought out a large piece of cardboard with the number to phone for MYMU which she'd drawn herself (so she said) in a cheap magic marker that had run out of ink halfway. It said 'Song 4' in faded scribble.
Awww...but she was harmlessly naff. The Americans got the best mix of Total Eclipse... where as we got a weird slowed down version of it.

When will this woman just piss off?! She's another of these 5th rate singers who live 'touring' bits of cheap formica 'stage' in Britains grottier of gay venues. I find it insulting that gay venues are still putting money in her pocket.... yuck that could be read as quite a grotty expression.

There's a club mix version I've got that starts with her going "ooooooooooooooooooooooo-ah-ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-ah-oooh-a-ooooh" (for want of a better way of phrasing it.
Is this an old club remix, or her new one?

Is this an old club remix, or her new one? Sounds like the Mobius Loop Energise Mix which I adored as a fledgling gayer in 1995.
