Of course a hit in Canada means shite - even in Canada; but, still: exciting! They played LDN on CBC radio in Canada this afternoon at 3.21pm. CBC is a national radio station and not just some local city station.
The DJ said: "Lovely song. Trust me when I tell you you will be hearing a lot more from that tune and that woman in the months to come".
I don't know if he actually listened to the lyrics though!

I presented the song to my friends at a party yesterday and everybody loved it. I predict a huge summer hit for her!

I've been meaning to bring this up - how amazingly gorgeous is Little Things?
I'm not sure if the version online is a demo - it's a thing of beauty in its current form, but with slightly fuller production it could be her Dry Your Eyes. The melody is to die for.
I love Nan You're A Window Shopper as well.

Everything she has made currently is amazing. I am hooked. Alfie is also extremely amusing and lively.
Little Things has to be a single.

Little Things: I'm not sure if the version online is a demo - it's a thing of beauty in its current form, but with slightly fuller production it could be her Dry Your Eyes. The melody is to die for. Not TOO produced though. Its present 'demoish' feel adds to its 'drama' and 'vulnerability'. If it's slapped around too much with synths or crescendos or what-have-you it will be in danger of sounding schlocky. Alfie is fab. Although it does sound like Emma Bunton's version of Puppet On a String; which isn't a bad thing as she sounded great doing it. x

Alfie is fab. Although it does sound like Emma Bunton's version of Puppet On a String; which isn't a bad thing as she sounded great doing it. Because Emma Bunton's version was so earth-shatteringly different from the original as to render them almost completely different songs? 'Alfie' is probably my favourite of her songs - 'I'm trying to help you out so can you stop being a twat' is certainly worthy of mention. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

Cheerio, Michael. xxx Emma's voice is not the same as Sandie Shaw's which doesn't sound like Lily's which can sound like a 'less produced' version of Emma's (who's voice I actually like). Thus, Alfie doesn't sound like Sandie Shaw's version but does sound like Emma Bunton's.
