They are finally coming to Britain. Not sure if Voodoo Child is the best choice for first single but time will tell.
Just booked tickets to see them in July at Shepherd's Bush Empire. I highly recommend it to anyone else.

Of course VC is the best choice for first single. Look at how it did in OZ!!!
Radio 1 are loving it and it will be playlisted anytime soon.

Very solid work the album. I love it.
Voodoo Child is the best choice they could have gone with. As said above, everyone who hears it is absolutely loving it. It's been played on Pete Tongs show 3 out of the last 4 weeks and has already had spot plays on Jo Whiley and Vernon Kay.

it would be good if single #2 in the UK was a song that wasn't a single in Aus - In Love Again or Believer would be good.

I really like Voodoo Child but it's just not as instant as Watching You, which has a more familiar sample. Then again that could be the plan, get the interest then hit with a killer follow up. I think Way To Go can be removed as second single for the UK.
I agree with In Love Again bein released as a single, maybe single number 3 in the UK. Apparently the more rockier We're Coming Home is slated for single number 4 in Oz.

Voodoo Child is a brilliant lead single. It has been played on Radio One a few times I'm told...
The album's greatest strength is its coherence for me - all the songs complement each other very well. It's a bit like Aguilera's Stripped in that regard. There are a few fillers, of course, but it's very good. I also love the final track which nobody ever seems to even notice.

I've heard of this band, yet I haven't heard their music. Maybe I should start checking them out?

Apparently the more rockier We're Coming Home is slated for single number 4 in Oz. Indeed it is, the video premiered on Rove yesterday. it's a bit darker than the other 3

"Izzy" finishes filming for good in July for Neighbours, she's meant to be concentrating on promoting the album over here and maybe finding some new acting work, so heres hoping by the time the 2nd single is out she is over here and it gets loads of good press!!

I've literally just received the album in the post this morning and I'm currently listening to it as I write!
I have to say it's pretty damn good too...but then I love the whole guitar/dance hi-fi/heavily produced stuff (one of the reasons I always loved Garbage so much!).
On first listen, my current faves are We're Coming Home, Fashion, White Lightning and In Love Again...brilliant (haven't gotten to track 12 yet!).
Hope they do really well!!

I read somewhere that all Oz singles are slated for UK release so it would be doubtful that Way To Go! would be skipped. I think that would be the most successful anyway!!

is it only me that thinks that voodoo child is the weakest of their potential singles. Way To Go is definitely the best.

I got the Promo CD today. I would have liked the remixes to be a bit more dancey. Not that you can get much more dancey that Voodoo Child but whatever.
