en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Get-together-cd-single-cover.jpg(Make sure to copy and paste the entire link) Wikipedia has the pic of Madge's "Get Together"....i see cloud on the top right if i'm not mistaken...i think she left out 1 or 2 dancers too.... meanwhile, "Jump" may eventually be the 4th single, according to wikipedia, again.

Her record company here in Australia is saying that Jump will be a fourth single, probably very likely considering the Nova radio network here has already been playing it for a month or so. Get Together grows on me the more I hear it though.

I hope not. I like it on the album, but it's such a step down from the brilliance of Hung Up and Sorry that I'd rather she didn't bother releasing it.

I like both tracks, although today I'm preferring Jump (I said on another thread I liked Get Together better, and I may well again tomorrow lol).
Hung Up was OK, although I much prefer Sorry (it's just the whole ABBA sample thing on Hung Up. Gimme Gimme Gimme! is so much a better song than Hung Up and all I'm reminded of throughout Hung Up is that fact, because of the damn sample!!).
I think it'd be an absolute waste to not release a full quota of singles from this album. Although I'd like to see Isaac replace one the aforementioned choices (never gonna happen!!!).

Is that cover on her site? Why would she do a cover with Angie, her manager, on it? I am not quite believing that one.

I really don't mind "Jump" at all, but I seriously think "Get Together" is the best choice for a third single from the album, especially because I seem to feel very strongly about it actually being the best song on "Confessions".
It's her first real french-house moment. You just cannot go wrong with that.

Jesus on a bike that cover screams fake. God help her if it's real... if all this still is true; Get Together as the third single, that crime-against-pop single cover... she's doing her best to sabotage her best album...
If it IS real, there's no way I'm going to frame that monstrosity and hang it up next to Hung Up and Sorry on my wall. Eugh... hopefully Australia will save the day and release Sorry and give me a 12" single cover in the same style as the others...

I used to love Madonna, but I can't get onboard with the vacuous, hateful woman she's become.
She's only ever been interesting when she's had something to say. All of this 'get up and dance, c'mon shake yer pants!' bollocks is best left to ten-a-penny europop no-hopers, I'm afraid.

True, but Madonna's music doesent lack substance.
Just take another listen to 'I Love New York' and discover how deep she really is.

Apparently it's offical.. which is fine with me as i dont think it's that bad.. it's all her "people" together...
Someone in her camp probs read/heard all the comments about her being airbrushed to with an inch of her life on the last single they decided to do something different this time round..

Ok, what some of you forget is that Madonna is a Popstar, she doesn't need to make everything lyrically deep and musically totally avant guard... She has done it, and she hasent, wich is totally ok, because as an artist (and I write music myself, without wanting to compair to her...) you don't always feel the need to make people have questionmarks popping up everytime they see you, sometimes you just want to get your idea into everybody's head... So better writesomething more easy to understand... And when has Madonna been sooo far away from the mainstream? Even Ray Of Light wich was very avant guard for 1998, is one of the most popular albums... For example Jump is a song about liberation and going forward instead of back, I think it's not that shallow.... then Hung Up is just a song with stupid i'm-breaking-up-lyrics... Vogue was basically about dancing infront of a mirror or so and then there are sosngs like Bedtime Story, that really make you think about what she's saying because you don't ecen get her point...
What I as a huge M-fan want to say is, that you can't expect her to always bring out stuff that is more complicated, more avant guard, more unexplained... She's a pop singer and thank GOD she's no Yoko...
Oh and about the cover: How sweet!

Are you kidding? Sure she writes dumb shit sometimes, but then sometimes she writes the best lyrics out there. Push is the best song she's ever done in my opinion. You can't honestly say that that's vacuous? And this isn't a sledge on anyone, but what's with prefixing pop acts with "the"? It was kinda cute with Girls Aloud but I just don't get why it's being done with so many different people... or have I missed a page in the pop bible somewhere?

This is POP music we are talking about. Most of the lyrics are weak, but that's not what it's about - it's the song as a whole. The best pop /dance tracks make you FEEL a certain way and sometimes the simplest lyrical hook is more powerful. A song like "Get Together" is Madonna conciously attempting to do a "Holiday" type fun track (like "Music" was). That's all.
Re ILNY - I don't object to the word "dork" in the song, but in how its used: "Other cities make me feel like a dork" huh? A dork? Why do other cities make you feel stupid/geeky, Esther? Having said that, I absolutely LOVE the song and I will be up in the rafters at Madison Sq Garden when she blows the roof off the sucka.
As far as I can tell, Madonna is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. The haters will not be convinced otherwise.
