I noticed they're on the PJ Almighty above Pet Shop Boys, so I was just wondering what you people think of them on here...

Are they like the regular Muse, but a bit more dangerous?

You'd think, wouldn't you?
No, they're a New York City-based electro duo.

Their single should be coming out some time soon. It was on iTunes a while ago, before they'd shot the video, it seems...

Our equipment's all far too heavy to do that with. Well, except for our Alesis Micron. The guys were on the front cover of US gay mag The Advocate. You can find the full article, which is really very informative, right here.We do love Dangerous Muse and not just because they're releasing our remixes.

there's something mildly pretentious about them (look at how attractive and electroclash we are!!) but the rejection is undeniably catchy and hypnotic. for some reason it reminds me of holly valance circa state of mind.

I don't find that myself. Not that I didn't like State of mind because I did, but I think it's quite different. That track was quite electroclash itself, though, wasn't it.
The Rejection is jolly good. Tommy got it on the free download from iTunes and we really liked it.

I love The Rejection! Very 2003! In a good way! I 2003 was great! However, the thing that the singer does with his face is in the picture is quite embarrassing. The second guy looks alright.

I really really want to like them, since both members went to the same university that I'll be going to this autumn, but I just can't get excited about their music. There's just something missing, I can't say what.

Have you heard anything other than The Rejection? I've really liked all the tracks of theirs I've heard. Sounds great IMHO. Definitely a touch of Pet Shop Boys in there. Lovely.

Hmm. They're not bad. Very Fischerspooner-lite - although that's not entirely a criticism.
They just need a bit of a kick up the arse I think. I like my electro to make my ears bleed (or just feel a bit denser at least).
A stomping dance mix of the Rejection, though, would definitely rock.

I've heard three remixes of The Rejection, the disco mix on their MySpace page and the two Silver Spirit remixes (obviously). Check out Devious Planet for a couple of pics and the article about them from The Advocate where they on the front page.
