Isn't it a ballet as opposed to a musical.
I think it was at Sadler's Wells over Xmas.

I've seen it. It's a ballet, by Matthew Bourne (who did the wonderful all male Swan Lake) . It's really, really good. Like watching a dancing cartoon.
I can't remember anything much about the music though. Sorry. But it worked really well with the dancing.

I read an interview with the two leads and one of them was quite fit.
Not really adding much to this thread. Oh when will my working day be over?!

I desperately want to see this. I love ballet. I've been into it since Mum took us when we were little.

The music is the music from the film, by Danny Elfman.

Have you seen it, LiTa? Is it any good? It's great, I think you'd love it. It sticks very close to the film (well, as close to a film as a ballet can manage - the costumes and music are exactly what you'd expect) though, whether or not that's a bad thing depends on your thoughts on the matter!
